Though, truth be told, Chernaya Alpha doesn't really slip off the tounge.
Only two kills? You'd think Japan would have experience with this sort of thing. Is anyone else thinking that the kill counts on the cards are gonna spoil the film?
It could be said that they aren't necessarily going for the color black when saying Cherno, it could be intended as a name, so instead of translating to "Black Alpha," it is intended as literally "Cherno Alpha"

Australia bot is gonna die then, since it's the 'best' one. It's going to be the one that's relied on, then it fails in some way.
Why is there no European Jaeger? I feel left out. :c
They've only shown us five Jaegers out of a total 9. There's probably going to be at least one European one.
should have named the US robot Enola Gay, just for the ironic mythology gag if nothing else
Why is there no European Jaeger? I feel left out. :c
Might have something to do with the fact that Europe doesn't border the Pacific.
Ah, shit, you're right. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] What a lame pageking.

Canadian Lumberjack Jaeger please
Brazilian Jaeger that kicks explosive soccer balls at the monsters and has two giant speakers on his shoulders that go "HUEHUEHUEHUEHUEHUE" from the moment it's turned on
Does it also kidnap tourists and turn them into strip-club sex slaves?
I hope there is a Mexican Jaeger with a sombrero, poncho and giant bottle of tequila.
And it is on the Pacific. There's a chance!

One day before my birthday? It's like a present from Guillermo Del Toro.
New trailer. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxnQi1qAvdM[/hd] It looks much more sci-fi than I was expecting.
Holy mother of fucking christ I am ready for this movie
hnnngh this is fucking amazing
Aside from the terribly generic inspirational narration by Jax, that looks fucking great. See, Michael Bay? That's how you do giant spectacle action movies.
Jet jauguar the movie?
ohhhhh that was gooooooood give it NOW

holy fuck that CGI eat shit Michael Bay
With this and The Avengers, it proves that you can use a fuck ton of CGI and still see what's going on. Eat shit Michael Bay, you untalented hack.

A lot of them were also colourless and similar in design. Plus they looked complicated as hell and I had trouble at deciding what the shit I was looking at.
