Brotip: The gifts won't go away, your crappy presents can wait for few hours.
We had to wait for my grandma to get up :frown:
I have no christmas spirit because we had to mortgage our house to pay off Garry so he won't kill me and throw me into the water.
Since it's just my dad and I, I got up at like 10, and he got up a bit earlier, and we just chilled and opened presents and played bananagrams. Twas indeed a nice Christmas, even though it felt empty without mom . . .
Also, chill out. Gifts and everything aren't that important. I got two things for Christmas this year: a book and a jacket. And I was happy. I've had Christmases where I got Alienware computers, Xboxes, and other gifts galore. This year was like that complete opposite and I enjoyed it just the same, maybe even more. So I think you can wait a bit until you open your most likely generous gifts, it's not that big a deal . . .
Got up at 10 today, didn't get to presents until about 11.
op,the way you talk about your own family really makes me want to send you a christmas asskicking!
shut up and get a change of personality, you suck. happy christmas.
I always was the last one to wake because I always had a laptop and an internet connection from when I was around seven and that was all I needed unless I was getting a new laptop
I can't even remember the last time I had a family Christmas...
My parents divorced when I was younger, and my dad works 24 hour shifts which he usually works on Christmas every year. Now that I am older it is no big deal, but as a kid and teen I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Christmas morning present opening... I don't even remember the last time I actually got presents...
Oh crap...
Get out of my head
In my home, no one waits for anyone.
Reading that was painful...
It's 11:30 right now, and my two brothers are asleep and my Father is nowhere to be found.
Wow, this always happens (except my sister wakes up at around 3:00 -_-). We just started opening them even without everyone up.
We open the gifts on Eve.
We open the gifts on Eve.
Doesn't that technically christmas eve is the day before. :buddy:

hey, im not
You are supposed to get the stockings and bring them back to your room.
I like how you emphasize they have no christmas spirit.
You just wanted to open presents
They lazily walk down to the Christmas tree, with no Christmas spirit.
And OP thinks Christmas is only about presents.
i opened everything yesterday, today i woke up last, showered instantly, then got in the car, we left at 11, we've been driving since, it is now 1
It happened this moring to me.
I couldn't get asleep till fucking 2:30am, then when I wake up at 8:00 I have to wait another hour before my fucking brother drags himself out of bed.
My sister was up at 6:00am and she refused to come down despite being piss bored.
I was up at 8:30am :downs:
We don't even have Christmas anymore. When my grandparents were still alive, we usually went there on Christmas Eve and open our presents.
To me it's just another day. I got up at the crack of Lunch today, thanks to my friend not caring I didn't wanna leave my private Gmod server up all night...
Now he's sleeping through Christmas. Not my fault.
No.
When I was a little kid (5 years ago and down I guess) all it meant was that I had a lot of time to eat the candy in my christmas sock, the presents aren't supposed to be opened before after christmas dinner.
I slept till 11:00 and then had to work helping with finishing the last preperations and remove the snow so people could drive in and out.
I woke up at 2 this afternoon
I woke up about 14:00, and i sat infront of my computer and missed the present-getting-thingy
See that doesn't happen with me, Christmas morning from my perspective involves being woken up by some annoying little child at 5 am.
