Soy burns, and it's near impossible to make a half decent burger with it.

I like it, but I'm going to maintain to the short, sweet, and to the point of the burgers being "pretty good" but not "the best"
medium rare allways unless its shit meat
For some reason I always have my burgers with just the meat, cheese, ketchup and mustard. I just don't like that lettuce and tomato getting in the way of my meal.
I still like making home-made big macs. The sauce is to die for.
I like to make my burgers like meatloaves, but with a home made spice rub.
Then occasionally I'll cook them in a smoker. A little long winded to make a burger, but totally worth it.
Ventilated come to ccof chat
also: the best burgers are made with addition of onion powder, tastes so fucking good
This thread makes me hungry...
medium rare allways unless its shit meat
Medium rare for a burger is hard to pull off right, as the inside is often completely raw. Medium is perfect for a burger.
Use Nature Seasoning you fools

Add bacon and barbeque sauce and you got yourself a mouth orgasm. My mouth is watering already just thinking about it.
Tired of the same old burger? Want something that satisfies your taste buds like no other? Well, here is a self-made (me and a friend actually) recipe for the BEST BURGER PATTIES EVER!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2/3 cup diced onions
1/2 cup Pace Medium Picante sauce (Or hot if you want to spice it up a little.)
1/4 cup Mesquite liquid smoke
3 tbsp Seasoning Salt
3-4 tbsp Crushed Red Peppers
1.Form meat into patties no more than 3/4 of an inch thick (so they can cook through).
2.Cook on stove top on full heat, moderately charring each side.
3.Remove burgers from frying pan when done.
4.Put on a bun, with any of your favorite burger toppings.
There you have it, some DAMN good burgers.
Also, feel free to add your own ingredients.
Make 2 1/2 inch patties instead, put them between 2 pieces of wax paper and put them in the freezer. While waiting for them to freeze, cut the top half of a "top half" of a bun, so it's a divider bun. Put them straight from the freezer onto the skillet (frozen straight to cooking gives it that delicious fast food taste), and use the divider bun to make it a double burger.

It's not the fast food taste you want.
Needs garlic. 1/2 tbs.
Other than that sounds good. Oh, and a burger is best prepared medium, unless otherwise specified. (I worked in a diner once.)
For me, It depends what restaurant I go to. Like at Islands ( I don't know if you know what it is I'm not sure how popular it is really) I get it medium well, but at other places I get it medium. I always get steak medium though. I guess It's personal preference though.

Islands is so greasy I always feel sick coming back from it. It still tastes good, but my stomach never thanks more for eating there.

Different strokes for different folks. If I can achieve the fast food taste at a quarter of the calories and fat, I am a happy man.

what is it, meat with dog shit piled on it?
Anyone ever try Kobe beef? That shit is fucking delicious.
And for fancy burgers I put mushrooms.
Otherwise, plain old lettuce, tomatoes, and A1

Mmmmmm now I'm hungry.
I had a burger yesterday. Best burger I ever had after a night out clubbing. Too bad it gave me the shits. It was like a small bomb went off in my bowels.
This is literally the best burger I've ever had (minus the pickle though):

Stanich Burger in Portland, Oregon.
This thread is making me hungry and I just ate too. :< OP burger sounds good, but I don't think I'd like the texture.
Any west coaster should know what In n Out is. If you go there, get a double double or a triple triple animal style, and experience the best burger ever.
Needs more mushrooms.
quality meat with salt and pepper is the best
