"Yeah he is a very talented man."
Another reason to say he's better at directing than acting. But I don't mean bad by it, he's still awesome in every way. Even musically.
"It was?" "I wanted to see it"? ["What Would your rating be for Hereafter"]?QUOTE=KlaseR;29615083]Hereafter was disappointing.
At the 100th "AYEA-YEAA" in The Good the Bad and the Ugly i switched it off. I'm talking about 20 minutes into the film.
Francis Ford Coppola would beg to differ that
And I believe Stanley Kubrick would also beg to differ.
True.
Clint's great, but not the best ever, no.
his work as a director has been consistently amazing, and while I wouldn't state he's the best direction seriously (I actually wouldn't say any director is the best, people love to forget that Scorsese and Coppola both have shit that does infact stink), he is a great director. Acting wise, Clint is/was no bum, he's demonstrated that more than enough times, but he was plagued by typecasting in his early career and roles that allowed very little emotional growth.
Even as a pre-pubescent child I knew about Clint Eastwood, and I knew he was the master of Westerns. I knew that without knowing what he looked like, what movies he was in, his talent, I knew nothing about him other than he was the king of westerns... That's got to account to something if a 7-8 year old knows who Clint Eastwood is. Now having seen a lot of his movies, he is just great...so fucking great!
