Maybe he got evicted anyways and then he lived with his mother.
Maybe he got evicted anyways and then he lived with his mother.
He promised to pay the money back, he still hasn't.
Looks like we have another fatlord on our hands.
What an ungrateful boostard.
More like, you're pretty fucking stupid if you gave money to this and actually expected anything back
pahaha these threads are always scams, i've seen about 5 or 6 of these pop up and i think only one of the threads wasn't some 12 year old trying to make easy money. if you fall for these you're too gullible
Firstly, people know there is a possibility of it being a scam. But that is a risk they are willing to take to possible help out someone in need. And secondly it's not a case of being too gullible, it's a case of people being considerate and helping others out. What about charities? People donate to help them, but how can they be sure that 100% of their donations goes to the people in need? They don't, they just donate because there is the possiblity it could save/help a life. I don't know about you, but I'd rather swap something as common as money, for something as uncommon as helping somebody else.
Thank you everyone. You have proved yourselves to all be total assholes. Look at my older posts, read about how I was evicted from my apartment and now I live with my parents, jobless. I have talked to Olas (Never contacted by anyone else) and I told him my situation, I promised to pay it back, and I will. For now I cant because I am unemployed. A few weeks ago I was contemplating suicide because I have nothing, and I had to lose my education. Every day I think about how amazing the people who helped me out were, so go ahead, call me ungrateful, but your only kidding yourself. Perma me if you really see fit, because I cant pay them back for a while, because I was grateful. My best friend Alex gave me ten dollers for my birthday to get boosted. In heinsight, I could have payed back with ten dollers, but would it make a difference if I split a ten more than three ways? If you dont listen to me, and think that I am a liar, at least listen to cdlink14, see reason. [editline]30th October 2011[/editline]
Hey guys, I think whoever lent this guy money got scammed. It turns out he lives with his mother. (Why the hell would she turn off his computer in any other case?) Proof: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1135431?p=32966686&highlight=#post32966686]
Self explanitory.
Don't kill yourself.
Don't kill yourself.
I got over that, but seeing all these people accusing me of being a horrible person and hating me without seeing my side of the story isn't helping my morale.

[editline]30th October 2011[/editline] Self explanitory.
I'm sorry if you feel we came off as inconsiderate assholes, but really, if you were evicted and can't pay the money back in time, I think you at least could have posted in here as well as PM'ing the involved parties. The minority of Facepunch browses peoples post history on a random basis, and I'm sure most of us didn't know about your situation. The only reason I checked yours was because of someone who'd posted about how your last activity was two weeks ago. When checking your hardware thread, I only assumed you'd forgotten (or worse) about the generous people in this thread. After all, you have to admit it looks a bit fishy when it's pulled out of the general context (ie. you being evicted). I sincerely wish you the best, and that you'll sort your monetary problems so you can get back on track. But please, don't forget about the people here. Misusing generosity may not be a crime, but it sure as hell feels like one.
Where's page 5? Anyways, to me I don't think this is a scam, he obviously has the intention to repay everyone who has donated, just be patient and we shall see if he comes through or not. [editline] l [/editline] Oh hello, page 5.

If you feel generous, then sure help him. But there's still a very real chance of that flamehead5 never needed money and just abused the empathy of people. Real or not, it's still a stranger on the internet and if anyone expected everything back, then he's being gullible.
Landlord used evict, it was not effective:
you are a god among men [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] brq you make it sound like the people who donated are worse than the person who got the money. people can't donate/loan money and be able to wait patiently to get re-imbursed? nevermind the fact that we don't have any proof because i'm more likely to give flame the benefit of the doubt in this situation, but if i lent him money, found out he dropped out of school and now lives with his mum, i think i could wait a few more months for him to get that 30 dollars or whatever it was back to me.

What I mean to say is that I think it is stupid to trust random people on the internet by letting them borrow $75
I was a sucker and I was scammed. It's pretty obvious I will never see that money again. I mean for christ's sake, he boostard himself to Gold Member and has been talking about buying expensive airsoft guns. Congrats Flamehead, you suckered me and others into thinking we were actually helping someone who needed it. [editline]10th November 2011[/editline] I'm such an idiot, I basically threw away $125 so some kid in Canada can buy airsoft guns.
Never trust anyone who boostars himself gold member. Edit: Now looking back the last page, he insults someone over his postcount, what a sperg. Edit: Can't you inform paypal and have the cancel the transfer?
Never trust anyone who boostars himself gold member. Edit: Now looking back the last page, he insults someone over his postcount, what a sperg. Paypal (not surprisingly) said a big "Fuck you" and dropped my request.
This is why I am mostly greedy in my life, because there is no one you can trust.
not giving money to strangers on the internet doesn't mean you're not charitable or kind, or that you're greedy, it just means you're not naive enough to trust someone you've never met. sorry olas, but it's true :c giving someone money to help them out and not expecting it back is charity, and that's lovely giving someone money to help them out and expecting it back (based on what they've said) is naivety
I bought a copy for me and my friend to play co-op and its broken for the both of us.

Getting a full metal Tanfoglio Witness 1911 tommorow morning. He died of smallpox on January 30, 1730, 267 years before you were born.
Peter II died at 14 years old. This kid is 14.5 years old. However, there are posts in the depression chat supporting him.
I wouldn't care if I never saw that money again if it actually helped him out, but it's obvious he spent it on useless shit. Oh well, I learned my lesson ;)
Olas had good intentions, those who are slating him for it need to stop. Edit: Though I personally stopped believing his case when he said his landlord didn't accept anything but PayPal. Has the OP never heard of a standing order?
All from 4 weeks ago Peter II died at 14 years old. This kid is 14.5 years old.
Wow he's got to be the best scammer ever.

Unfortunately, I don't have any money to help repay this idiot's debt, but if there's anything else I can do let me know. People like you give me hope for mankind. (Also, if I get some cash/can use my debit card, expect some little Steam game for Christmas!)
Olas give me your paypal or something and I'll send you money
I expected this to be a lot more elaborate than it seems. A twisting loop of Paypal transactions aimed at people feeling sorry for donators', but then again I've not read enough of the thread. [editline]10th November 2011[/editline]
I'd pay olas, but I'm a poorass 13 year old with 20 cents, regardless, I'll give you all I can
you're posting on an ipad and you bought your title, don't feel so poor my friend.
you're posting on an ipad and you bought your title, don't feel so poor my friend.
Maybe that's why he's poor?
I got over that, but seeing all these people accusing me of being a horrible person and hating me without seeing my side of the story isn't helping my morale.
Then what is "your side of the story"? All we know is that you made this thread, begging for money as you were about to be throwed out, then this nice guy comes to help out and you rip him of. You say in your posts that you got a highspec pc(which is now broke) and you obiously got a another one, so why not sell those parts to pay this guy?
