I'm at episode 15 now. I really don't want to be let down. I heard stuff about time travel and weird stuff like that from various sources and is it really that bad?
Stuff like that does happen, but it's not weird because it fits in with the story and is done well.
If you watch an episode a day, or more, without commercials, you'll understand fine.
I've kind of already watched 4 episodes so far (if you include the Pilot as being two episodes itself).
So you're telling me it's okay to watch as many episodes as I can fit into the time right now? 'Cause I don't think I'll have enough time otherwise.

Yea, just watch as much as you can whenever you can. You can always pause for a couple of days and then keep watching, it doesn't take away from the experience too much.
I was surprised how everyone dies at the end of season 6, and how the island is lifted off of the planet and become Lostonia.
Well, Hurley may of created this place so they can be reunited when they die, but forget about, but they have to have someone remember them, and that's Desmond. He managed to figure out they are dead and alive in both timelines, and needed to show them what life could have happen if they crashed.
When they flew off, that was real, the plane and island was real. And what happens after is progress.
I watched the first season and lost track during the second as at the time I was unable to watch it each week and whenever I did catch it I was confused. I gave up in the end and now have no idea what's going on.
This.
I'm loving it so far, at Season 1, episode 13 right now.
Locke's probably my favorite character, other than Sayid and Hugo.
