somethings wwrong with your face your retarded
Disregard my avatar. Go to the doctors. While it is somewhat common to have your jaw make those cracking noises rarely, it should never continue on for this long.
I have had this. Went to the dentist. You have to stop chewing so much. If you chew too much something about the joints getting sand in their vaginas. Chewing gum = bad I'm actually serious.
Thanks. I'll do that. I was just unsure what kind of doctor/treatment this needs.
It's this. Temporomandibular joint disorder. You seem to have it severe. Basically you grind your teeth at night, meaning you clench your jaw really tight while asleep. Some reasons for it could include high stress levels. The treatment for the teeth grinding is a bite plate, which is something that cushions the clenching of your teeth and puts less stress on the jaw.
Is this the only thing needed? As sloppy_joes stated chewing gum is bad and adds to the effect of this... and I chew shitloads of gum.
My jaw kept doing a pop/click on the left side, I could feel it and it hurt a bit. It went on for a few days but sorted itself out.
Go see a doctor, it may be simply dislocated
Disclaimer: the only reason I'm posting a thread about a physical condition of mine is because FP is a massive forum, and many of its users have had many different experiences; some of the users may have gone through this too. For the past few weeks, randomly after waking up one day, opening my jaw made a loud POP noise. I ignored it at first, but every day as I ate it became more annoying. Now, I can hardly chew, speak or let alone swallow. Even the slightest opening of my jaw makes a CRACK noise and it hurts a bit. Has anyone had a similar problem? How did you fight through it?
I have this problem. To cure it I have to put some sort of plastic (?) attachment on my upper jaw during night. Problems significantly decreased after 2 weeks, I do not know how it works but it's magic.
I dont know if its the same but I crack my jaw like others crack fingers.
The dick was too big..:(
potato
To much E.
Even the slightest opening of my jaw makes a CRACK noise and it hurts a bit.
I have pop, but it doesn't hurt at all.
My jaw pops on occasion, but like not very often.
Get kicked in the jaw, it should clear it right up.

First 3 months you will loose 40 pounds from not being able to eat solid food (survived off of soup and milkshakes)
Your jaw is cracking when it moves.
We really need a "No Shit." rating for this kind of post but since we don't I'll rate you informative.
Need to get them wood sticks out of your mouth. :colbert:

You have a jaw problem? I had four wisdom teeth pulled this morning, now that's a jaw problem.
I had this once, but it wasn't as bad as yours. Apparently I got mine from chewing (something :geno:) at night.
You have a jaw problem? I had four wisdom teeth pulled this morning, now that's a jaw problem.
I feel bad for you. Also have fun trying to chew anything.

I really should go see a doctor, my jaw has been stiff and sometimes popping for months.
I have had it for over 4 years now. I've gotten used to it. It doesn't pop as loud as it used to.
This made me open my jaw really wide and yawn.
Post a thread about it on Facepunch. But in opposite world I recommend seeing a doctor.
Thread lacks of MS paint.
tmjd temporal mandibular jaw disorder or something like that
DON'T go to the doctors. Show 'em who's boss :v:

I have the same problem. Went to doctor, doctor sent me to dentist. Went to dentist, dentist said something along the lines of i bite really fucking hard in my sleep. Gave me this plastic thing i never used cause i can't breathe with it in. It still hasn't gone away, and I've had it for about three years now. You kinda get used to it. Hope this helped
