I've had this happen dozens of times it's easy to fix First thing you need to do is grab the nearest handgun and insert the barrel into your mouth Just pull the trigger and your jaw won't be popping anymore.
If it's getting worse go to a doctor. If it's getting better, still go to a doctor.

My jaw has been clicking lately which pisses me off. When I chew it's really annoying, but it doesn't hurt. It's kind of like when you crack your knuckles, it clicks but doesn't hurt. I think there's something wrong with the joints, I am glad it's not as bad as the OP's thing :ohdear:
Sounds bad, get a doctor.

You have tuberculosis.
I used to have this, but I grew out of it. I had alot of chin injuries when I was younger, which can hinder your jaw growth and it may start developing wrong. Is your bite slantled?
your growing.
Went to the orthodontist, sent me to get an xray, got one, orthodontist was convinced that it's teeth coming out (I have really slow tooth development), dentist disagrees with orthondontist and agrees with me saying it's the jaw. I gotta go to a city miles away from here to see a specialist in jaw stuff and get a panoramic xray of my jaw. I'm taking inflammatory drugs after each meal every day and it seems to improve, so it's definitely the jaw.
Lock jaw is usually caused by excessive cock sucking/swallowing.
funny. irl what people call lock jaw is tetanus, you get injections to prevent it. should have every 10-15 years especially if you get stuck / cut with rusty metal or stuff which has been lying around the ground. it's an infection. the drugs connection and stress tmjd or whatever is similar, because the meth / ecstasy etc causes some people to grind their teeth (hence lollypops & gum), while other people do it naturally in their sleep (especially if stressed). OP you might stop grinding your teeth at night and it could get better. if you chew lots of gum, this isn't helping. if stopping that doesn't help though, go to another doc / dentist for second opinion, if they say you need a plate then use it, it's better than having cracked teeth exposing the nerves (+pain) & huge dentist bills by the time you're 30.
I used to get it all the time, yoy get it when you have groth spurt. Dont worry it will go soon.
Tell doctor facepunch about it and be an idiot.
You'll be fine.
This thread is 3 weeks old im sure he has sorted it out by now. :P
This thread is 3 weeks old im sure he has sorted it out by now. :P
he just posted comment 56 mins ago saying not fine, dentist and orthodontist disagree on diagnosis, has to see another specialist.
somethings wwrong with your face your retarded
I could say that about your avatar.
Lock Jaw: God's way of shutting up the people who incessantly bitch and moan about everything. I'm not saying this about you, just certain people in general.

I had it. It went away though. Terrible when I made out with my girlfried...
I'm pretty sure you have TMJ.
Your jaw is cracking when it moves.
On a more serious note. Go see a real goddamn doctor.
So I went to that other doctor who told me I have to do a 10 minute exercise 3 times a day and take a pill every 8 hours. Shit sucks.
I heard something about that you shouldn't do the exercise if you have muscular tensions or what it was, as it made it worse...
Jaw AIDS.
Post a thread about it on Facepunch.
He already did, and you're posting in it about him making it. :downs:
It's this. Temporomandibular joint disorder. You seem to have it severe. Basically you grind your teeth at night, meaning you clench your jaw really tight while asleep. Some reasons for it could include high stress levels. The treatment for the teeth grinding is a bite plate, which is something that cushions the clenching of your teeth and puts less stress on the jaw.
Huh. I get a very small popping when I open my jaw sometimes. It's not close to how bad OP has it.
