You have TMJ.
Woah, a straight to the point, informative, non-partial post on facepunch?
I have this too.
:sigh:
I heard something about that you shouldn't do the exercise if you have muscular tensions or what it was, as it made it worse...
Huh, I thought the whole problem was about muscular tensions. When I do the exercise the pain seems to go away for a little time but it hurts while I'm doing it for some reason.
I'm guessing you've dislocated your jaw.

You have to go see a doctor either way.
Why are you asking this shit on Facepunch. Go see a docter, Im not a docter but the best medical advise I can give is; Go see a docter!

Do you read the OP atall?
Nah, its all right. I had that a year ago. It was really hard to eat, but it comes and goes from time to time. In fact I have a minor one right now.
Something is not right with your body and is in grave danger. Make another thread about it.
-~=Go To ThE DoCtoR=~-
I have it, my mum has it, my nan has it, only thing i can say is your gonna have to live with it, or probably have an operation.
-~=Go To ThE DoCtoR=~-
Artistic.
goto a doctor..
Can this thing also happen to the neck?
I've had this for about two years now.. Fuck man I guess I've just gotten used to it. Some days it's worse than others on some I can't even open my mouth to eat because chewing pops my jaw constantly. Then some days it's absolutely fine.
TMJ but the doc said he couldn't do shit and I went to more than one. They didn't even suggest a bite plate. I hate this bloody jaw shit.

Same shit only for a few months and a bite plate is suggested but not recommended because of my slow as fuck tooth development (I still have teeth coming out)
Reading this thread makes it feel like my jaw is locking.
I had that yesterday, it said crack and it went over.
That's exactly how mine began. Get it checked ASAP.
Late response here, I've been abroad.
My jaw doesn't hurt or click now, but it is locked on one side. I can't open it past a certain point, which makes eating really annoying. I should go to a doctor I guess, from what I can see on medical sites it's likely to be a problem with my joints on my jaw, although i can't be sure till I get it checked out.
i think i've read a thread just like this on here before.
wait... maybe it was a penis that popped?
that thread was last year and is currently dead threaded. how did you see it?
im not bein' an ass, i'm just curious.
Disclaimer: the only reason I'm posting a thread about a physical condition of mine is because FP is a massive forum, and many of its users have had many different experiences; some of the users may have gone through this too.
For the past few weeks, randomly after waking up one day, opening my jaw made a loud POP noise.
I ignored it at first, but every day as I ate it became more annoying.
Now, I can hardly chew, speak or let alone swallow. Even the slightest opening of my jaw makes a CRACK noise and it hurts a bit. Has anyone had a similar problem? How did you fight through it?
Your jaw popped out of its socket.
Unless something hit you very hard in the jaw, you most likely have degenerative cartilage in your jaw, which at this point has completely disintegrated.
You will need surgery where either cartilage will be moved from another part of your body to your jaw, or a metal plate and rod will be installed.
The same thing happens to me. When I open it to talk it pops like 6 times on both sides. When I lay down or sometimes if I'm in the middle of a conversation it will just lock up and I have to force it down. I went to the dentist and she said it was TMJ. That's probably all it is but you should still see a doctor just to be sure :3:
I had this problem,
It was a jaw fracture.
Don't hesitate to call a docter, They don't bite.
Same answer as any other medical help thread:
Go see a doctor. That's not normal.
