You might want to see a doctor if you mucus is dark red. Are you sure it's mucus and not just heavily congealed blood?
It's more of a mix rather than completely red so I don't think so. I do want something about it done though because the rancid breath is not a good thing. At all. It doesn't have any mental or physical affect on me apart from the "drip" and smell - I don't get nosebleeds , haven't been coughing up blood or anything ,sense of smell isn't dampened ( might be , not too sure - had it for a long time) , no headaches ...
So I have a question about the name of something that I forgot a long time ago. Basically, I can withstand lower temperatures better than my friends or those around me. Here's an example: I can wear nothing but a t-shirt in negative degrees centigrade without freezing at all. And I also know that this is not too rare and some people have this "ability". Now, I remember that this has a name, I just don't remember it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_snow This may be it.
That looks like it! I guess I must have a fairly bad case of it, then.
Better known as "excessive eye floaties"
This is much more than just floaters, sadly. Everything is flashing, all the time!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_snow I have it too. Like that other guy said, it's not really a big deal.
Oh fuck I discover i have so many things like that.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploding_head_syndrome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photic_sneeze_reflex I am fucked up :3 [editline]28th August 2011[/editline] And now I discover is have visual snow.. (only in dark)
Ahh, so those noises I sometimes hear before falling asleep are from Exploding Head syndrome. Welp, looks that my head full of visual snow will explode.
Uhhh, I think I've developed cellulitis near the back of my knee?
I got a pilonidal cyst removed at the start of summer, pretty much ruined all the exercise I planned doing. I'm still having the packing on it changed daily, should it be completely healed by the end of next month?
I had one removed in the middle of July, and it's still there, but the doctor says it's healing up perfectly. I'd give it 3-4 months. In your case, chances are that it will be gone next month, and if not, just wait a while longer.
It's more of a mix rather than completely red so I don't think so. I do want something about it done though because the rancid breath is not a good thing. At all. I'm fairly certain it being red isn't a good thing, but I need to know what shade it is before I can help you further. And... yeah, I'd suggest seeing someone above my level of expertise. Like I said, I'm no doctor, just someone with a lot of common sense when it comes to things like this, and common sense won't help much longer.
My right pinky finger has been going numb randomly over the course of the days. I think I pinched a nerve. What do facepunch? Right now its numb, its warm.
My right pinky finger has been going numb randomly over the course of the days. I think I pinched a nerve. What do facepunch? If it persists or interferes in your business, see a doctor.
Might have something to do with blood pressure, or something. Leave it for now, and take a good rest. The edge of my desk digs into my elbow.

You should get pins 'n' needles shortly after. If not, then you may have damaged a nerve, yes.
Just want to confirm that this is what it is: I've had this for 3 months (I've grown 2 and a half inches during the summer) and I just want to confirm that it's stretch marks from rapid growth. It's not from being fat because I'm a twig. It's on my rib cage, btw.
Stretch marks bro
My right pinky finger has been going numb randomly over the course of the days. I think I pinched a nerve. What do facepunch? Right now its numb, its warm.
Start doing shoulder rolls while your back is perfectly straight and you're sitting, stretch your neck by looking 45 degrees left or right and pulling on the area where neck and shoulder meets lightly. Also do this stretche against a wall, go to a corner and put both hands against the walls and lean somewhat inwards, keep your arms level with your shoulders same for your hands and have your elbows at a 45 degree angle and make sure your shoulder blades are pinched. Going to physical therapy for 1 1/2 years for a back injury sure teaches you alot about issues like these. . .
I asked that jokingly of course. My real question is whether or not a month and a half of moderately heavy drinking will bring long-term damage, or would you need to drink for far longer periods of time?
Of course it will bring long-term damage. The question is whether you care or not.
Anyone know a way to counter-act fainting? I fainted today when I saw a coroner extract fluid from under the cornea of a dead-mans eye. (He had 'problems' getting teh fluid)
Anyone know a way to counter-act fainting? I fainted today when I saw a coroner extract fluid from under the cornea of a dead-mans eye. (He had 'problems' getting teh fluid)
Why were you even watching a coroner extract fluid from a cadaver's eye?
A few people asked about insomnia way earlier in the thread. For those few, I'd like to recommend a melatonin supplement. Melatonin is the actual hormone your own body produces to induce sleep, and it is sold as a supplement. Since it's not a drug, you can't really overdose on it, and your body doesn't develop resistance to its effect either. I started taking it in high school, and I remember the first night I took it, I was dead asleep within 10 minutes. It also gives you really vivid dreams, which can be both a good and a bad thing. (Good when it happens to be a sexy dream :quagmire: But bad when it's a nightmare from hell. Imagine a nightmare you've had in the past, but 10x more real and vivid.)
I've barely been eating, I have constant nausea and loss of appetite and I can't fall asleep easily. I usually go to bed around 12-2 am, but now I can't fall asleep until at least 4:00 am. What might be the cause for this?

I have these small bumps that go up my arms but only the top side not the underside. I have little to no hair on my arms. Help?

So I never actually dream, and I can't visualize anything when I close my eyes. When I sleep, or close my eyes, all I ever see is blackness. However, when my eyes are open I can easily picture things, to the extent that I feel like I can force a hallucination. Fuck, help me fp, am I going to die?
Yes you'll die but everyone dreams every night, you just don't remember it.
I do remember it. Fairly well, actually. It's just once I get going it no longer becomes relevant and I forget.

Not only will it help you remember dreams when you wake up, but it also helps you dream without instantly forgetting.
If anyone tried the treatments are they worth it or should I just leave it and hope they eventually go away?

Worldwide, KP affects an estimated 40% of the adult population and approximately 50%-80% of all adolescents.
Very high figures. It's more normal than homosexuality, or if you're a bible basher, being a christian.
