I like guys what do?
I can fix this, come to my place at 7pm tomorrow. Bring no-one else, trust me, I'm a doctor.
Since yesterday I've woken up with a crippling soreness on the upper-middle right side of my chest. Last Night I thought I just slept badly, but it's happened again now. How do I make it go away?
I have asthma. Sometimes, I have to like, force myself to yawn to get a satisfying breath. Sometimes, that makes my lungs feel like they're about to explode, or something. Some chest pain, too. What causes that and how do I stop it?
die hopefully.
k wat nao? it jus made mi head starte bloodinge.
Pectus comes in two flavors: carinatum and excavatum. Carinatum (or pigeon-chest) is characterized by a bulge in the sternum, caused by cartilage irregularities. People with this form of pectus are more at risk for certain types of heart and joint problems. Excavatum, which is far more common, results in the bowled chest appearance. Excavatum is generally harmless, but it can cause heart problems later in life for many people, and in especially serious cases, can even restrict lung functions. Depending on the severity of the restriction, the patient's lower ribs may begin to flare outwards under pressure from the diaphragm, as the lungs will expand down into the lower chest cavity to compensate for the limited space. The flared lower ribs generally result in a potbelly look, and are a tell-tale sign that a patient with pectus is experiencing moderate to severe restrictions in lung functions. Most people who do have problems with pectus don't begin experiencing them until their late teen years, after they're almost fully grown. Active children might grow up to discover that they now fatigue quickly during exercise, or begin experiencing chest pains. Very tall patients, with long limbs, also need to be aware that they are at serious risk for a connective tissue disorder called Marfan syndrome, which can be fatal. Anybody with pectus experiencing any of the above symptoms or dispositions should take it upon themselves to ask their doctors about seeing a thoracic specialist.
I'm a week late :v:. I'm 16 this year and I'm living in Australia off the healthcare system but my family and I are born Americans. I'm getting surgery in a couple months to attempt to fix the curve in my spine from scholiosis, and after that they're going to fix the dent in my chest. They've always told me it's harmless, but I have to say I feel like it's pressing on me sometimes and I get fatigued very quickly while running to the point of sickness. I waited a long time to go see specialists about Marfan's and iirc they said I do not have the genes that they are certain cause it, but there are undiscovered genes that may mean I have it anyway. Regardless I was diagnosed with an umbrella connective tissue disorder, but my heart is fine for now. I feel for your situation man, if I was in America I'd be royally fucked right now. I didn't come here for the healthcare, but it's one of the main reasons why I've stayed. I'm going to have to talk in more depth to the doctor, because although they've said they would fix it I don't know how long I could be waiting, after 3 years of waiting for surgery for scoliosis and a booked appointment for 9 months later I don't know how long it'll take to get this done. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, other people have it much worse, just sharing my experience.
I got huge black things under my eyes like someone has punched me in bouth eyes or I wouldn't have slept in whole week. This problem has been for couple of years and I don't know what to do.
well, help?
some people naturally have darker colouring under their eyes than most people. as far as i know there's nothing you can do about it, short of wearing makeup.
well, help?
I have something like that, blueish soft skin under my eyes. What's ridiculous is when my cheeks / nose get red from heat (I'm sensitive to heat), now I've got 2 colours on my face, fuck.
my nipples hurt when twisted how do fix
Become masochistic and enjoy it.
http://www.steadyhealth.com/Crazy_Painful_itching_all_over_body_in_winter_t141266.html?page=1 I have almost the exact same problems as these people, though it happens far less often and usually only when I accidentally leave the heater on in my room. Now the people on the website I linked to have posted a great deal of things that should supposedly work, but no one confirms it, they all have their own solution. Would any one of you know of my problem and know a good remedy?

Though I wouldn't describe it as painful, but it is borderline unbearable. One thing that I found really helps is to lay down and cover up while having a fan blow on your face. Sounds weird but it works like magic. I wish there was a more 'portable' solution though, other than scratching at it for 5 minutes.

TYhis one day , i woke up with a numb pinky. Nothing too bothersome, except it wouldn't go away after 15 minutes. It eventually did (I stuffed it under some blankets so the blood vessels would dilate or some shit) but every now and again, that irksome numbness comes back, sometimes it goes up the lower-left side of my arm (this is the left arm/pinky). I should say my posture is horrible and I'm constantly hunched over. Am I going to die, Doctor?

I should say my posture is horrible and I'm constantly hunched over. Am I going to die, Doctor?
i had this for a little while, it was mostly my pinky and ring finger that were going numb, sometimes with it radiating up to my elbow so i went to see Dr.Internet and came out with this http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/topic.cfm?topic=A00069 Ulnar Nerve Entrapment (read the page, it's not very long) and not only did the symptoms fit, but the probably cause was
Because this can irritate the nerve, keeping your elbow bent for long periods or repeatedly bending your elbow can cause painful symptoms. For example, many people sleep with their elbows bent. This can aggravate symptoms of ulnar nerve compression and cause you to wake up at night with your fingers asleep.
and i used to lean on my elbows all the time. since reading about it i now try my best to keep attention to whether i'm leaning on my elbows or not, and i also sleep with them straight against my body, not bent up with my hands by my neck like i did before. and for me, it's helped greatly, the numbness disappeared within a week or so. so i'd say it's worth a shot, it sounds very similar!
My right foot lives a separate life from the rest of my body. Seriously stop fucking twitching god dam. It's hard to concentrate when your body moves by it's self. [editline]11th January 2012[/editline] Also just recently I wake up from sleep hearing nothing from my right ear and suddenly 20 mins to a few hours later sounding like someone smacking me in the head it starts working again. I don't get it.

Yeah, I guess my first post getting back's going to be another one of these... Go to a doctor. EITHER of those symptoms should get you pretty damn worried.
On my right foot, on the right side of my toenail, that space between my big toenail and the skin on the right hurts all the time and is very sensitive. Upon closer inspection I found that I have this overly hard skin that's like the bastard child of the nail and the skin and it's stabbing into my toe. I've had that for a while but it hasn't started hurting until a few months ago and won't go away. What do I do O' esteemed Dr.Facepunch?

There are spots of skin on my leg that suddenly turned a deep purple color today. That's a good sign, right?
I did, it hurt like shit. Then it grew back in a few days.
Hmm... Maybe you should try pulling it, then using a nail file to blunt it before it grows into a sharp point and starts stabbing you. If you're lucky, it'll just continue to be blunt until it stops growing.
There are spots of skin on my leg that suddenly turned a deep purple color today. [t]http://db.tt/ySAkkC89[/t] help it's like, when you get a kinda deep cut and you see white before it bleeds, it's like that, but on my lip. It hurts like hell when just my tooth touches it, you can imagine how it feels when toothpaste or salt gets on it
Not just bruises or bedsores?
It was just a few spots. I was a bit concerned because they appeared in less than eight hours, but they're gone now so I'm not going to worry.
So, i do clinical observations at my local hospital during the morning ( I get 1st and 2nd period off to do this :D ) and today I spent my time in the Labor and Delivery department. I sat in with an RN doing a Q and A session with a new mom and yeah.. to the laddies out there I suggest not having kids.

I've heard plenty of people say that having kids was the best decision that they ever made.

Fuck med-school, we have google.
So I'm getting a strange pain in the back of my throat when I swallow. It doesn't feel like a nerve kind of thing, and more like something pointy and jagged like a piece of hardened skin is stabbing me there. It sort of goes away after I eat something, but once I swallow a couple of times it comes right back. If I keep my tongue totally still then it seems to stop. My mum says it might be an ulcer in an unfortunate place.
