Every time i sneeze, i get cramp in my penis any help? :tinfoil:
Sometimes my eyes will squeak when I open and close them as if air is trapped behind my eyelids. It gives me a tingly feeling and tends to be annoying when it does happen, but it normally only happens a few times a month. I don't think it's anything serious and I've never had any eye problems. Does anyone know why this happens?
:( so my medical internship is over, 6 weeks, a few hours a week it was. I just got my EMT-B recently. [editline]17th February 2012[/editline]
For a long time ive noticed I get these weird dark, purple like blotches on my hand and fingers. Its not like a rash or anything, just the color of the skin. It shows mostly when it's cold, but shows without cold too and it shows up multiple times a day. Also, my fingers or entire hand sometimes become numb for seemingly no reason at all and it's very uncomfortable. My hands are almost always shaking and weird hand/arm spasms occur at times. I just now decided to look this shit up on the internet and Reynaud's phenomenon seems to be the closest thing I can find that relates to it. Thoracic outlet syndrome seems a bit like it as well. when I dangle my arm over the side of my bed for an extended period of time, all of my veins swell up and pop out a bit in that arm. It goes back to normal if I pull it back up, though.
well... yeah gravity's a bitch, you know

Nope I have not started to vigorous masturbate as far as I know. The blister looks like it has a bit of puss in it. I read that is could be an ingrown pubic hair.

You need to put bengay on your balls.
I've had it a few times before. I just put some benzoyl peroxide on it, and after a week it went away.
Know any brand names that you could recommend to me?

With my year of medical knowledge, I suggest taking a hot pin and lancing it. For fun
I've had a rather intense headache these past few days, standing up or sitting up for too long and I feel like I'm going to pass out. Too long being like 5-20 minutes. On top of that my bladder has been acting up as well. I have to go to the bathroom every few hours, but I'm not shitting normally, it's just liquid. I'm also pissing a lot less than normal.
What are you training for? I just got my EMT-B recently.
I want to get into EMS too, i plan to take EMT-B next year, when i graduate, or during my senior year if my school is willing to offer EMT-B (the EMS station down the street gets 1.3 calls a day, so they have the time to take on a student and their medical supervisor teaches EMT-B and has offered to do it, just my school isn't really with it, and probably won't add it due to "budget restraints") I've done a total of 40 hours observing in house, and on a few trucks in my own time and through some school student intern programs, which just ended. I think for my age (17) I am moving in the right direction in how proactive i am with doing as much as possible, be it through personal contacts who work on trucks that handle 911, or through a school programs. Until then, ill be taking medical terminology classes at the local community college, because i can do that regardless of school budgets and age restraints, and ill be working on getting my college basic credits done via early start programs and AP courses; while hopefully volunteering at the hospital which i secured some friendships with the staff. Oh and i help out in the nurses office, but that is kiddy stuff. Do you plan to get your -I? or are you going the other route by working on another degree? I met a ton of RNs/CAs who are EMT-B, seemed like every other person in the PCU was an EMT-B so you never know.
Looking for serious answers here: I've been moderately sick for the past week with a head cold (moderate cough with congestion). Today, I woke up to find that my eyes were extremely red, and got sent home by my school nurse for what they suspect is "pink eye". I've been taking cough medicine regularly but my cough hasn't gotten better and I actually feel like it's gotten worse. I went to see a movie today, and my stomach starting getting weird pains, like a needle is stabbing it. And my nose also started bleeding during the movie. Are any of these symptoms for some serious illness I don't know about? If they were secluded I wouldn't be as worried but they are all happening at once. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow morning.
When you cough, and blow your nose, is what comes up clear, yellow or green. And are you spitting everything that you sniff, or cough up? (if you're swallowing it, that could be the source of your stomach pain) and do your eyes hurt? and have you been running any fever?

It was green, sometimes I swallow it, and sometimes I don't. My eyes don't hurt particularly, but sometimes there is a -slight- pain, but nothing bothering. I've been using eye drops. I have.
Sounds like a sinus infection bro. The stomach pain could be from the drainage, you definitely need antibiotics because its been a week and you're coughing up some nasty greenish blobs. It can affect the eye too if it gets bad. Does this describe what you got going on with the eye? "feels like pressure or build-up behind the eyes or in the space between the nose and the eyes. This persistent dull ache that radiates from the eyes to other parts of the facial region. A throb may be felt behind the eyes as well. If the sinus infection occurs in the sinus cavities closest to the eyes, the eyes themselves may bulge and become red." source - http://www.ehow.com/about_5139273_sinus-infection-eye-pain.html If your doctor is anything like the doctors around here, they will probably treat it with a Z-pack or some variant like it, stronger or weaker. I wouldn't worry too much, if at all. Sinus infections are REALLY common, especially where i live around this year due to the cedar pollen, we call it "Cedar Fever".

Are you sure I'd need antibiotics? I've had sicknesses like this before where I cough up green crap and I never needed to go to the doctor. Any reason why my cough seems to be getting progressively worse?

You may not always need antibiotics though, but if you dont get them it will probably linger around. I had a slight sinus infection a few weeks ago, and it took like 3 weeks for it to go away. I was being extremely dumb to not go to the doctor and get antibiotics. It could of been over in like half that time if i went, but by the time i decided i needed to go to the doctor, i was already improving. I say if it's getting worse, if you're coughing up a ton of nasty looking stuff, yellow and green, you'll need antibiotics if you want to get over it as quickly as possible. Also the whole eye thing, that's another reason to go to the doc and see if you need something

What's weird is, I had the same sickness about 4 weeks ago and I got better, but it seems like it came back.

Whenever I do whats in the video, they click, it's whenever I squeeze like that, It's a boney click and feel. [editline]18th February 2012[/editline] A better view. My fingers also feel stiff. The shit with bending of fingers is just me showing off my double jointedness :v:.
ok since google was no help I guess I'll post here, so last 5-6 weeks I have been getting this intense sharp stabbing pain deep in the middle left side of my brain, it lasts anywhere from a minute up to 10 minutes. personally it scares the shit out of me because a headache isn't all that a big deal to me usually I kinda shrug it off and continue with what I am doing but this just cripples me. I can't do shit while it's throbbing like that. Help me? I don't want to bring it up to my mom unless I know it's serious.

If you've never had one they can be quite a shock, very different from usual headaches. Why wouldn't you bring it up with your family?

Is it healthy to do exercises and then go to bed immediately after?
