i recently got glasses for class and driving too, but i started using them more and more because they are awesome
its like augmented vision, the future is a reality!!!
that's exactly what one of my close friends said when i told him yesterday, he's only recently just got glasses too
better make sure i get a nice pair then :P
I have a new job. As a businessman, introduced from a friend. Its selling magnetic therapy stuff, a bed.
I know its bullshit, but it really doesn't work, does it?
If you're wondering, I'm only there for the experience and the pay.

Total bullshit. An MRI scan uses extremely powerful magnetic fields, and all it's good for is taking pictures of soft tissue. The human body doesn't respond to magnetism on even that scale, while magnetic placebo therapy is orders of magnitude weaker.

I've had glasses for as long as I can remember, it's not really that bad, but since you are a girl, get some cool looking ones. Can we see pics of them when you get some? :)

Yes, but you almost certainly won't be able to prove it. Plenty of businesses offer nonexistent made-up services, but without hard proof that they're directly harmful there's really no way to shut them down.

I pissed off my parents and spent $700 before insurance on my new pair of glasses, but damn these things are cool. Titanium frames, poly carb lenses, since the bottom isn't framed, transition, anti-glare, polarized, and scratch proof. Plus a 1 year warranty on them for anything.

Placebo-Effect. That's what works most of the time with such... special stuff.

Can I work my way up, request for one of their product, and then sent it to the hospital for trials?
I started using glasses about 1 year ago. First just in the class, but after some time it was like switching between DVDRip and FULL HD movie. So now I'm using my glasses about 14-17 hours a day. But I don't think girls likes boys with glasses, so I'm thinking about getting contact lenses, but some people say that lenses are shit. What do you think, should i use contact lenses or continue using glasses? After all I'm 17 years old and still virgin, i need girlfriend (i never had girlfriend, and i never had friend which is girl too(because in my School there are just boys and I'm spending my 45% of day in there) i even don't know how to speak to the girls. If i record all my conversation with girls in the period of month i don't think that, it will be more than 1 minute.(Even if we count in conversation with my sisters too)

No one thinks people with glasses are weird anymore, too many people have glasses for them to think that. If you hate your glasses that much, talk to an optomitrist about getting contacts. And stop worrying about being a virgin. Focus on school.

i think you didn't saw my post about fruits, did you?
Not medical advice at all, but here's the deal; if a girl cares that you wear glasses, you don't want to be with that girl. Besides, tons of high schoolers wear glasses now, it's no big deal.
Got a swollen lymph node underneath the left part of my jaw, really uncomfortable to lie down with.

Then you're fighting something off more than likely. Either that or you have lymphoma.

That's a sure sign indicator of necrotizing fasciitis. I'm sorry.

No other symptoms? If so, that's just what happens when your body is beating the shit out of an infection rather than letting it fuck with you and make you sick.
Anyone help me out with this? I have a serious problem of mixing up words when i speak, i could be talking to you about something, i mix the word with something similar, like "Smoothie" with "Soup".

It's probably a minor strep throat, not a flesh-eating bacterial infection.

What.
What.
Whenever I get a scab after something has broken skin, the skin that reforms looks like awful scar tissue. What the hell?
This has happened twice, the first time was a small cut on my arm (small, don't know how it happened) and the other was quite a large grase on my knee. Both of these have healed over but the skin looks like a scar. Should I be worried?
i have this. i think it's just slightly sensitive/more delicate skin
would i be right in thinking that you're fair skinned? i had a scar on my knee for about a year after grazing it, and i never picked at the scab once. but i do find it disappears in time.
It's probably not, and I'm probably being a fucking idiot, but I've got a pain in my lower abdomen right now and I'm scared to piss in case it's a kidney stone.
i think not pissing is unlikely to help anything that's possibly wrong...
It's probably not, and I'm probably being a fucking idiot, but I've got a pain in my lower abdomen right now and I'm scared to piss in case it's a kidney stone.
If you've got kidney stones they tend to generate pain more in your lower back area. However, seeing as your bladder is in your lower abdomen taking a piss might actually help relieve or reduce the pain.
I just took a piss and now I do actually feel a little better. Thanks.
I guess nobody's having any medical issues lately. Goddamn healthy people.
What the shit, i hopped in the shower an hour ago, as soon as i got out, i puked all over the floor, without warning.

There's a cure for that:
Fool a microwave oven into thinking the door is shut then set it to go for an hour while your head is inside.
