I got bitten by a cat yesterday, broke the skin. Today the damaged area is inflamed and very sore. It's on my hand, and writing is difficult. Is this an infection? the cat is mine, but spends all day outside and fights other cats.
If it was yesterday, I wouldn't jump to infection just because of inflammation. Could you post a picture?
I'm infected, just got back from the clinic with antibiotics. Thanks anyways.

It's probably an infection.
You may want to double check for rabies.
Doctor, nothing you can do if you're having both. And it's all internal, they'll need to run tests as it can be a range of reasons.
Also check to see if your ribcage is even. Have you had an accident recently or trauma to your chest?
Is it just there or does it spread? Is there pain in your lower abdomen during that sharp pain?
The testicle problems stopped, woo
Yeah, a while ago one of my ribs got hit bad. Couldn't work out or take deep breaths for a while. hopefully going to see a doctor tomorrow for a couple of reasons:
Left nostril leaks blood more than once a week
Frequent panic attacks
Ringing in the ears, coming and going for a few seconds every day
ADD, not too sure i have it, but I'm hoping to get prescribed some sort of ADD medication to boost my academics and wake me up for school because I have to drag my half-dead insomniac ass to school every morning and it's really killing me.
I'm not going to assume anything, but honestly that may all be related. so you're doctor visit will be important.
Went in to a walk-in clinic doctor and they just threw a SSRI script at me, which I didn't bother taking.
I don't know if it's just the panic attacks, before this I still had some trouble breathing, and randomly I get a sharp pain in my left ribcage, under my nip (I don't believe my heart is there?) and I can't breathe in or it hurts even worse.
Apparently I have to wait days to get an appointment to a family doctor or a new doctor according to my ignorant mom, who knows absolutely nothing about anything medical related but makes absurd claims and diagnoses me with bullshit that just gives me more stress, makes me really fucking mad when she argues with me because she is hell-bent on believing every pill ever made will take no effect if you don't drink a glass of water with it, or every single problem I have is caused because I didn't supplement magnesium today.
It's getting really annoying ,and it's getting worse every day. Should I be getting help asap from some other place instead of waiting days for a doctor's appointment?
I suggest you to get an appointment as soon as possible, even if that means going to another place. Pains on your chest are often quite important. If something is wrong there, you really need a doctor.
Got problems with the left side of my jaw, but I really don't know what's causing it. Feels like the muscles and tendons have locked up and I get some dull pain when I eat. My parents say it's probably from me clenching my teeth when I'm stresseded out, but I dunno. Wondering if I should call my dentist or my doctor.

I had the exact same for half a month or so, was slightly annoying trying to chew with that side.
For me it passed on its own.
I have a couple of things of my own I'd like to talk about.
First off, a year or so ago, I noticed some yellow stuff under a fingernail that kep spreading the next following weeks. I got rid of it by eating almost the entire nail.
I've also developed a bit of a limp on my right foot, but i don't think I can do something about it since it'd probably be related to my joints, my mother has to take painkillers several times a day to be able to walk around.
I am a bit worried I might have diabetes, my appetite has increased for sugary stuff over the course of the last 2 months. Is there any way I can check it myself or do I have to go to a bloodtest?

Even though I might be completely and absurdly wrong about the appetite thing.

Yup, but I've got an appointment tomorrow with the dentist anyway, since I want to check my wisdom teeth just in case. She also said she had some relaxation methods that could help me prevent future pains.
About that yellow nail-stuff. It could be a yeast/fungus infection that you have to treat. My dad has it on his feet, and it's absolutely disgusting..

The info there should help you out.
Woke up this morning, sinuses stuffed up throats sore. But the weirdest thing ever is that when I take a slightly deeper than normal breath, my lungs hurt. Bronchitis?
You'll know if it's bronchitis. Hurts like a bitch and lasts for a week ON medication.
Have fun!
So, for the past six weeks, my girlfriend has just been getting sicker and sicker. Symptoms currently include fatigue, confusion, lack of memory, muscle weakness, dizziness, nausea, fevers, chills, headaches, sore throat, cough, pain in chest, and stomach aches.
Now, I know two pieces of advice I'll get are get her to go to the doctor, or stay home. She can't stay home because her mom is a bitch who simply won't let her because "she's missed too much school already". Going to the doctor is also pointless because even after being told all this, they keep saying it's either a sinus infection, or a cold, and put her on antibiotics that have done nothing.
Any ideas?

Go to the doctor again and either get a different one, or tell them bluntly that she's been put on antibiotics for a sinus infection and that they haven't worked and that she's still feeling awful. doctors generally do care about people, but they do have to deal with a lot of people who just want sick notes e.t.c.

She obviously has a severe respiratory problem at the very least. I mean shit, if I rolled up to a scene and saw someone having these signs and symptoms as being acute, I'd take their BP to see if they were going into non-peking shock. Now, she's not, I'm just saying these signs are rather severe, take her to the doctor or emergency room the second you can.
I think I had something yesterday that I should've at least visited a doctor about. During class I got a headache and couldn't read my laptop's screen worth shit and I felt a bit weak as well, today I just have a bit of a headache though.
Sometimes a day, I get this peculiar smell in my nose occasionally accompanied by some relatively painless throbbing in my head. Any idea what this could be?

Did you smell or otherwise ingest a small amount of cyanide just beforehand?

Detail this further, were you sensitive to light? Drowsy, etc.?

What does it smell like? Just from working off this description, that sounds like you're allergic to something.
Well, she went to see the school nurse today, after her teacher noticed what was wrong. We explained all these symptoms she's been having, and the only thing she was really told to do was drink more.
Same thing then happened during lunch. Took two of us just to get her to the office. She was sent home after that.
Not strictly medical related, but some of you might know more about proper medical procedure than I do. When she went in the second time, she was just left in the dark while the nurse went off to eat lunch. During this, she was visibly distressed and panicking. I'll just take a wild guess, and assume that's not the best way to treat someone dealinh with all this.
One more symptom to add, blurry and double/triple vision. I'm honestly quite worried here.

She has another doctors appointment set for Monday, but still unsure of what we should do in the meantime.

I'm not really sure, hence 'peculiar'. Maybe blood? But that'd be quite odd since I don't have a broken nose or something and I've never had a nosebleed before. Additionally, I have no known allergies. The episodes come sporadically a day and definitely not when I'm in contact with something.

That could be a migraine, some people notice weird smells when they have migraine headaches.
Everytime i stretch, i feel faint, and i have an incredibly painful throbbing in my head for a few seconds. On occasions, i would completely blackout with a fucked up buzzing sound in my head during one of these stretches. One time, i was walking to the bathroom at home, i stopped to stretch for a second, and my mom saw me flop on the ground like a sack of shit, when i came around again, she was staring at me, crying. I asked her why and she said i looked like i had just died, i was pale and wasn't breathing for about 30-45 seconds.
EDIT: This has been going on for about 3-4 years, the first time it happened, i was in English, i started stretching and i blacked out, and hit my head on the desk.

I take it you've been to a doctor.
If not, you're about 3-4 years late. I'd have seen a doctor after the very first time if I collapsed for no reason.
Alright, I was just making my self dinner, I decided I wanted some spice so I cut up some chillis then added them to my meal, I then washed my hands and went to take a piss, seems washing was ineffective and now my dick is burning. Anyone know any anti-chilli techniques?
Milk? Capsaicin is soluble in fats but not water, so that might help.
It's gone now
For future reference, cream helps a fuckton more than milk in neutralizing capsaicin.
