The other day I was trying to be sexy and did a striptease for my girlfriend, but I ended up almost dislocating my hip.
My diagnosis is a mental illness.
I'm trying to figure out how this is even remotely possible and it just isn't happening. That must have been one extreme striptease...
He must've tried the Herp-the-Derp tease.
This is nothing serious, but I kind of want to know what's happening. Basically, every now and again, I start feeling a bit faint and my vision fades out for a second and then comes back. Sometimes I'll be a slight bit out of breath afterwards, but I've never noticed anything long term. I don't know if there's any pattern, though.
I'm just wondering if it's something I need to look into or if it's something that's common and nothing to worry about.
Sounds like blood pressure
Does it happen if you get up suddenly?

Just sounds like postural hypotension. It's really common both among young people and the elderly to have these symptoms when standing up.
I've had this pain in the left side of my chest for one and a half hours now, I'm holding my breath as I type this because it's excruciatingly painful to breathe.
It's like a chest cramp, but they only last a few minutes at most and aren't this painful. I took some pills but they either aren't working/haven't kicked in yet.
What kind of pills are you taking, whats the date without looking and what is your favorite color.

Could just be that the muscles surrounding your ribs are very tense at the moment (probably the case if you've done hard aerobic exercise lately).
Sounds more to me like you have Costochondritis though. In any case with chest pain I recommend seeing a doctor very soon since it could be something more severe.
I think I have some sort of sleep disorder.
It used to be that 4-6 hours of sleep was perfectly fine. If I tried to sleep the "recommended" 8 hours, I would wake up excessively groggy and tired. Recently, I wake up fine from my normal sleep, but during the day I'll have random attacks of sleepiness. In a few cases I've even fallen asleep. I'll be fine one minute and the next I'm out. I'm thinking it might be narcolepsy since I'm also suffering from the cataplexy symptom, where my body will randomly become extremely weak (my second worst attack left me unable to lift an apple, while during my worst attack I completely collapsed).
Also, if I don't set an alarm to wake me up, I can easily sleep in excess of 16 hours. I know that cannot be normal.
If anyone here has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

The pills kicked in and are making the pain more bearable, but I haven't done any excercize today and it's still there.
Does anyone know how long it takes, roughly, to get blood test results back from the NHS? I have to admit, I'm somewhat spoiled because I have to do weekly/fortnightly blood test for my warfarin which come back the day after, but I've been waiting for two weeks now.
Well Dr. Facepunch, I have a case for you. I have something about an inch above my ankle that looks like some kind of necrosis. I only noticed it today. I walk around outside and in the woods a lot, so it could be a spider or tick bite. I'm attaching an image because I probably couldn't describe it all that well.
snip that picture is huuuge
It's probably 2/3 of a centimeter at its widest point.

Best I can do here is a link.
Help me Dr. Facepunch?
Okay, today i was taking a shit. It wasn't out of the ordinary, nothing painful or sharp. I go to wipe, and the entire fucking wad of TP is covered in blood, and so is my hand. It was fresh, it wasn't dark, it was bright red.
Am I going to die?
Are you a fucking retard? Call an ambulance and get checked out.
Sometimes I hear ringing in my ear, in the middle of the day, usually randomly. Occurs more often in the night, but still pretty randomly and not all the time. It doesn't last more than a few seconds.
I have this too, it's like some high pitched whistle in my ear that happens randomly, but for me I haven't had it happen for a while.
I think it has to do with something in your ears though, like wax or a liquid. Try some ear drops to clean out your ears and see if that helps.
Other than that, when you're in a quiet area and you hear ringing, that's tinnitus being a dick.
Now onto my problem that has something to do with my nostrils. Randomly, sometimes my left nostril will be easier to breathe through than my right, and vice versa. Sometimes the nostril that feels blocked isn't too bad and I can feel air getting through, and sometimes the blocked nostril isn't getting any air through. It doesn't bug me a whole lot, but it does get a bit annoying on the days when only one nostril is getting air through and I can't blow anything out of the other, I wish they could just work equally the same.

That happens to me primarily when I am in bed. It could be related to me always sleeping on my side though.
My left rib cage seems to protrude more than the right one. I heard stuff about being skinny, caused by asthma, etc.
Any ideas? I had asthma when I was younger though...

It's pretty common with a type of Pectus deformity, I have Pectus Carinatum and my left side shows a bit more. These can correlate with spine irregularities, but they don't necessarily mean something is actively wrong with you.

As I said anything to do with chest pain should get checked out by a professional. I'm still fairly sure it's costochondritis since it can be quite painful even without exercise.

It seems to be that due to the general area of pain and being able to recreate it by pressing between the ribs.
It's still here, though, but it's nothing like the first day where I was holding my breafh because I would writhe in pain when bleeding.

Maybe the shit was a bit more violent than it felt like and tore you asshole a bit? Perhaps it's hemorrhoids?
So about a week and some days ago my tonsil began to hurt. It wasn't too bad, I'd had tonsil stones before so I assumed it was just that again. I began to gargle mouthwash to try to dislodge the pesky stones I was sure were there. Turns out the white bit in the back of my tonsil was not just a simple tonsil stone, Oh no.
My tonsil continued to swell up for a few days until it just fucking hurt like crazy to swallow. On the 24th I took this picture:

and went to the doctor. They did a strep test which I knew would come back negative and put me on some amoxicillin.
after a couple days on amoxicillin with no improvement (actually the white pus began to spread to my other tonsil (noot neeeeearly as bad on that side)) and much more pain I went back to the doctors and they recommended I get a blood test. I'm currently awaiting the results. They also put me on a stronger antibiotic, a Z-Pack which I'm afraid isn't doing any good either.
Its incredibly difficult to swallow especially in the mornings and drinking liquids is 100x harder and more painful than eating food. It feels like there's a flap of skin or something on the top of my tonsil and another flap way down on my tongue about 1/4 way down my adam's apple that are torn open and pulled back into an incredibly painful position if I drink liquids. This is incredibly frustrating and it's only getting worse. Eating food is almost no problem which is the strange part to me. The most frustrating thing is knowing I'm going to need to drink lots of water to combat this thing but having water so excruciatingly painful to drink. also you can't tell in the picture but my tonsil is so swollen that when I close my mouth I can feel the tonsil against my uvula and the back of my tongue.
also it smells/tastes like death in my mouth.
I took this picture of my right tonsil just today:

I gotta be honest, that looks like a stick nicked your leg.
But your camera autofocused on your leg hair so it's hard to make out the detail

Inflamed Hemorrhoids. You most likely have internal hemmroids since you don't report any pain or discomfort. There are also external which are a prolapse of part of the anal tissue. As horrible as this sounds, it's nothing really to worry about. You won't die. It's a lot less blood than you think.
Hemorrhoids are fairly common, usually due to straining, prolonged sitting on the toilet, and sometimes also hard stools (which is caused by a low fiber, usually poor diet), which can cause minor tearing of the anus.
Treatment can be done a few ways. One is improving diet to include more fiber. Another is to not sit so long on the toilet and try to not strain while pooing. The third, but not final, is to use ointments. Preparation H or cortisone cremes are usually used to help alleviate some symptoms such as inflammation and itchiness.
If they continue, you should go to your doctor. Severe cases can be treated through minor surgery. One way is a rubber band to constrict the protruding blood vessels until they die, and another is cauterize.

The doctor said it was a staph infection, most likely MRSA. That nick was where the bump ruptured into a lesion. Now I have some antibiotic cream prescribed I keep on it. Change bandages frequently, clean with dilute peroxide, wash bedding, clothes, hands, all that shit. It bothers me because a lot of people are colonized with MRSA here after the last outbreak and my weak immunity means I've had it three times now. This one grew fast. It tripled in size from that in less than two days.
Alright, so my friend's eye hurts. A lot. She usually wears contact lenses. A couple of days ago she got something on her eye. Due to her wearing contact lenses the thing got stuck in there somewhere. She can feel something being there from time to time, and it hurts. She has told me that here eye is quite red from it, and it hard to keep the eye open when she feels the something, which is quite often.
What should she do to fix this, and could it be something else than a something being stuck in there?
Pilonidal Cyst surgery recovering. :(

All eye related complaints need immediate evaluation by a doctor.

You may want to consider getting your tonsils removed if you get these a lot. You sound like you know what you're doing (IE fluid intake, taking anti-biotics). You can try salt water gurgles, and just generally keeping your mouth clean as possible. Also awesome pictures

I've had a spec of charcoal in my eye, it was exactly like this. If you want to do it yourself, you can take her contact lens out and use a wet q-tip to very gently get it out. I don't recommend that though. Seek medical help, it could scratch her cornea if it moves too far.
Alright, I'll tell her to go see a doctor then. Well I don't actually have to, she is viewing the thread herself now :v:
