Possibly. Things can have multiple appliances and I know pine sap works very well as a disinfectant.
I doubt it kills all threats you face with open wounds, but I have never looked into it.
We're such a consumer culture, instead of fixing, making and using our own stuff we gotta buy 'em, when the best stuff is the stuff we make ourselves. When my headphones broke I spliced the wires, duct taped 'em. Two chairs broke I built a table out of them. Spoon bent so I carved my own, and when I get a cut, pine sap does the job.

Frenulum Labii Superioris
but what could make it hurt randomly?
I have never had any problems with it before
you could have an ulcer or something developing there
or you might have hurt it without realising whilst eating
i don't think it's anything to worry about
oh ok
I googled it and all i found out was what the removal surgery was called
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but Ive discovered fairly recently I have Cibiophobia. To sum it up in a sentence, I have a fear of food. Not all food, but enough for it to be a pretty serious problem.
First of all (and this is the most normal part), I cannot eat Fruits, Vegetables, Sandwiches, food such as pickels, and other similar food. I hate cold food. Cheese strings, those single sausages you get in green packets, and any meat like ham served cold. If at first glance I don't like the look of food, it takes a miracle for me to try it. I have never eaten Chinese or Indian food in my entire life for this reason. Ill come to this a bit more later, but I physically cannot even try some foods. Its like my mind rejects me as I try to think about eating something like fruit or vegetables.
Second of all, having the foods I don't like in my presence causes a sometimes painful but always awkward physical reaction. Noone has told me they have noticed it happen. Basically, my muscles lock up and freeze for a second, my nerves buzz and my back aches. My mouth goes dry and I feel like I want to vomit. Most often its things like Banana skins, fruits like Cucumber, tomatoes, Sandwiches with cold meat in and things like pickel, mayonaisse and butter.
Thirdly, it makes social encounters unbearable. I stick out and look like an idiot when I can't eat Indian, Chinese or anything resembling a meal at Subway and British pubs with traditionalist menu's. (like Sunday Roast) Its especially bad when I have to ask waiters at resturants exactly what is in every meal because one small lump of salad can ruin an entire meal. Ive been called an anorexic. As one of my friends jokes, "its like a selection of knotted string". I am incredibly skinny as you probably just gathered. There is no short selection of comments on that I have had to stand and listen to. When I look down I can't see it, but when I look in the mirror I can see my rib cage somewhat clearly. (without clothes). As can my friends.
Fourth, I have a fast metabolism. I can eat shitloads of junk food at times, Ive tried muscle powder and vitamin tablets which have helped in no way. My palette of foods consists of Potato (and all foods under that category, except jacket and similar ones), Ravioli, Beans, Pizza, Chicken Nuggets, some fish (mostly Cod, not Salmon) served in batter, Burgers, Bacon and Sausages off the top of my head. That is pretty much all "proper food" if you can even call it that, that I eat.
Its pretty much made my life extremely hard, on top of other issues. It seems to get worse over time. The physical reaction took a while to manifest, and the dried mouth/wanting to vomit occurred just after January.

Man up. Eat some shit.
[sp]See a psychiatrist, or something of the sort. It's all mental. Also see a doctor and get one of those feeders so you don't die in the mean time.[/sp]

I know this to mean something entirely different. I'm going to guess it's something to do with thin pieces of connector skin?

i think you really need to go and see somebody about this. i mean, at least you know it's not healthy or normal, but i doubt there is anything anybody on here can do to help you. it sounds pretty serious, and that it's affecting your life quite significantly.
get some help

A frenulum (or frenum, plural: frenula or frena, from the Latin frēnulum, "little bridle", the diminutive of frēnum) is a small fold of tissue that secures or restricts the motion of a mobile organ in the body.
yep, that's also the name of the little bit on the penis

Mine's out of date, better go play in the scrap yard
To mac338 and anybody else who is wondering what to use for cuts: Neosporin.

Works really well, heals cuts really fast.
Long as its cheap, not sticky and can survive some hard labor in the dirt then I'll get some.
yep, that's also the name of the little bit on the penis
Thought so.
The reason I know is that I once had mine snapped (torn slightly) during a bout of over-enthusiastic sex. Her fault really.
So yeah, if anyone has any questions I'm here all week.
to people with the butt cyst
what does it feel like (the cyst itself)
i have a little thingy in my skin right under my tail bone as in if you kept going down the spine, its right there.
It feels completely solid though and doesn't deform when I push it. It only hurts when i push and see if its still there

At my local Walgreens it's really cheap ($3) but it seems like it's more expensive online, so I would check to see if any local stores carry it. It's a clear gel and it's somewhat sticky so I would recommend putting something like a band-aid on top of it, but if that's not an option for you I wouldn't recommend getting it.
Yeah my gloves get ripped to shreds, I don't think a band-aid would stick on.

You could put it on overnight, that's a good (insert average sleeping time) of healing with nothing to bother it.

Best to disinfect ASAP or it gets in your bloodstream.
And I like my wounds covered too. I don't like getting my axe all bloodied since I'm not Jack Torrance.
how long does it take to heal and feel better after septoplasty surgery?
how long does it take to heal and feel better after septoplasty surgery?
Less than a week. Unless you get swelling or some sort of problem that isn't normal.
I've had a hard time breathing through my nose for years, I don't have a cold or anything.
I've got a similar problem too, at least one of sinuses is blocked most of the time. It's not snot or anything either.

You can get a cheap disinfectant that doesn't stick at all.
As for making it survive, it comes down to how well you wrap it up.
Get some dressing, bandages and wrap up the wound. The bandages will probably get torn up but it should keep the wounds relatively more sterile than filling it with sap.
Lets save theoretically you get an incision on your hand.
Just take the disinfectant, rinse the hand and apply. Then place dressing on the wound and wrap your hand in bandage
since you're working, you'll need to use a wrap that keeps function
Obvious you'd use less surface of your hand unless the wound is really big.
all you'd need is a box of gauze, a roll of bandages and a vial of disinfectant. Should all come standard in every super cheap first aid kit.
So after like 10 years, I finally got medical coverage to go to the doctor's for a basic check up. The doctor did a physical and gave me a chest X-ray and he told me he wanted me to get a chest CAT scan because he thinks he might have seen something in my X-ray and wants to be sure. What could he have seen? I don't feel sick or anything, but it's kinda unnerving because he didn't tell me what he thinks it is.
Maybe an infection, at worst maybe a growth?
Either way, if it was big he probably would have said more, so don't stress I guess
