10/10. The school in question is shit but there are tons of hot chicks wearing tight pants. :smug:
-999999999999999999 Piece of shit who even wont let us Take a crap.
Well, I start going to high school in 4 days, so I can't really say. I'll just have to see, but my last school was around 4/10, mostly because of the teachers. Only one was awesome, and we got him at the last year.
1, filthy and 90% of the teachers don't give a fuck if you pass or fail, we all march down grey the halls like prisoners to our cells. Teachers only attempt to suppress any negative actions of students if it's something that would get them in trouble without doing it. For example, one kid during cooking class pulled his dick out and rubbed it on the counters and the teacher saw and didn't do shit cause she was a lazy bitch who didn't want to do paperwork.
That's fucked up...
Probably around 8. I have some pretty fun classmates, free food (most of it sucks balls though), no dress code, some nice and fun teachers and other stuff. But there is a shitload of faggot wannabe gangstas. Fuckin' hate their guts, they're the reason why I didn't get into a mythology group, because it needed more people and they take up pretty much 80% of people who could've joined it.
Actually, let me re-evaluate. I forgot a couple of things. First of all, our janitor is awesome. He always has something to eat if i'm hungry and the food they serve tastes terrible. Also, if you help him do some job, he lets you check the underground tunnel network beneath our school. (which i really like) But yeah, seems like in schools, there's massive concentrations of douches. I usually try to avoid all kind of attention and crowds etc. But in schools, that's not very possible, as you have to stick to certain classes and people get to tease you around. Once i snapped and because of what i did there, i got kicked out of the school for 3 weeks which is the longest time in 2 decades :saddowns: The food indeed is free, but it actually worsens the quality. Half of the time it's something like Pesto-fish sticks or fish balls or, or, salad faggotry. They just taste horrible. But then again, sometimes their food is fairly edible. Now, about the rules. They're not strict as some of the schools i read about in this thread. We're not allowed to have any electronics active, but everyone disobeys the rule anyways. The only time we have to take them off is when someone tells us to, but we wait for 30 secs then put them back on. No dress code here, as long as it's not racist or sexually explicit. And uh, i don't know what to add...The building is bland, everything is white. EVERYTHING is white, it's like a fucking mental asylum. Actually, i heard it was a former hospital. It would explain those hospital doors on the 3rd floor. So, final evaluation: Occupants: 3/10 (2 points just because of the awesome janitor) Food: 5/10 Strictness: 8/10 Architechture: 4/10 Overall: 5/10 (Exact Average? coolio) And they claim our schools have the best education in the world....bullshit.
Pros -lenient dress code that doesn't effect me -Electronics aloud at break and lunch as well as before school, and in class at teachers discretion (most teachers allowed them after the actual lesson was over and the work started) -Lots of electives and facilities (literally the best school in all of British Columbia in terms of programs) -Decent computers as well as an animation course -at grade 10 (The school goes from grade 7-12, weird I know) you get to go off campus -Generally nice looking school -Not a lot of bullying as far as I knew -Small Cafeteria/Multipurpose area that sold food Cons -Retarded teachers (common among any school) -Sexist teachers (same as above) -Since it's 7-12, punishments are a lot more strict -Overcrowded school, most of the time you don't get the classes you want because there is 1 or 2 people too many -Overpriced food, 1.25 for a 50 cent soda? lolnothx (although I bought them anyway) 8/10
My school is a 10 because I don't go to school :smug: [editline]08:50AM[/editline]
If you still buy the overpriced food then you shouldn't have a problem with it. If it is a problem you need to take it up with whoever decides the pricing or the principal.
9/10 Pros: -Electronics are allowed, just don't use them during lessons, unless the teacher gives you permission to do so. -6 year program that allows the students (most of them) to skip the O levels in my country. Only those that really cannot cope with the advanced syllabus are allowed to take the O levels. -Special programmes that allow students to hone their talents in certain areas, for example, Humanities, Bicultural Studies, Science & Math etc. -Educated population -Relatively well-known -Canteen food price is okay, quality and quantity perfect -Poolside canteen that is open to the public also available for people who have the time/money, or just want a treat -Nice scenery -Frequent discussions with the principal/high school council every other week. Students are actively encouraged to voice their opinions, though the principal is notorious for shooting down otherwise perfectly good suggestions, or going off topic when discussing sensitive issues. I managed to get some of my ideas considered by the school administration :smug: -All rounded education, other than simply academic. -The school uniform is alright, no one has problems with it. Cons: -The pond which we have to walk past every morning after assembly smells horrible and makes me want to vomit, especially since it's so early in the morning. The smell does go away later in the day though. -Pressed to get good grades or get removed from the stream. If you don't get into a special programme without a valid reason, or simply don't want to take one, you are recommended to go for the O levels instead of staying with the rest of the student population. That means an average of 70/100 for all subjects.
4 It's full of lads and they basically break shit and I hate to say it, but "this is why we can't have nice things"
If you still buy the overpriced food then you shouldn't have a problem with it. If it is a problem you need to take it up with whoever decides the pricing or the principal.
I don't really have a problem with it, it's just more expensive then it needs to be.
My school is a new state run school, it didn't have too much funding for the first couple of years and we had lots of alternative teachers. It's always been very fun but nowhere near as academic as other schools. We didn't really get homework until year 11. Still, we got our shit together in VCE (senior school) and last year we had 25% of our students go to Melbourne University which is the premier University in our state and in the top two for the country. I gave it a 9 because it's been great the entire time, despite the relaxed approach it has been great. There's no real bullying, a couple of fights a year but it's very relaxed. Most of the students are cool guys, mostly because it's an inner city school. Since year 11 there haven't really been any rules either. Just don't be a douchebag in class and you won't get kicked out.
8 We have a uniform but it's a comfortable uniform. Most teachers don't care about iPods. Don't own a phone so I don't care about the strict phone rules. Awesome subject choices. Best school in my state by far.
I rated 7. Thorildsplans Gymnasium in Stockholm, Sweden. Ok school. Have no real complaints, but it isn't really more than ok.
Fucking sexism in my school. Girls can wear whatever they want (Skirts, pants, shorts, 3/4 pants, 7/8s), boys can only wear long pants. Boys have to sit alphabetically, girls can sit wherever they want. Girls also get higher grades, just because. And I'm dead serious about the last one.

That is incredibly sexistic. Be happy, you have a Swedish Geek on your side in your struggle against sexism.
My school was a 6 No order what so ever but it cant be helped.. 600 kids 30 adults, some guy took a shit all over my work and put it in my locker and wiped it all over my clothes. To be fair there is order when adults are around but it needs more Staff. Food had burgers , Pizza , Fish fingers , chocolate cake , biscuit and other lovely stuff. Food was awesome. As for the other stuff it was okish. Friendly teachers but retarded kids.. Been a long time but this comes to mind first.
3, Gangs everywhere. Plus it's D rated.
Well, complain then. I can agree. That is incredibly sexistic. Literally, that's what they say. And it pisses me off.
Complaining doesn't do anything. Most common response is actually: They are better than you. Literally, that's what they say. Start braking the more sexist rules, and use basic human rights as a argument. Maybe take legal action? Gender discrimination isn't exactly something that is very accepted. Or an armed coup.
OP your school doesn't seem too bad. You're just pissed because you can't follow the rules. My school is just too boring and education sucks. I'd rather have strict rules and good education than hardly any rules and no proper education.
OP your school doesn't seem too bad. You're just pissed because you can't follow the rules.
I do follow the rules, where did I say I didn't follow the rules? Just because I follow the rules doesn't mean I like the rules, or even hell, the school. I chose my three electives and they put me in Student Aide without any knowledge of what I'm supposed to do in there (I took Explorations year 6, Art year 7.) which still pisses me off. I start again at this school tomorrow, if the teachers aren't bullying the students this year maybe I'll change my mind.
6. Too much homework.
Hey guys I have a question. How much do you usually typically pay for your school food? At my school, you payed 2 bucks if you got the meal they were serving(which comes with 2 sides of your choice, milk/juice/water). I usually didn't get the meals though, I'd just bring my own lunch and buy some cookies or something, which were 30 cents each.
10 out of mother fucking 10. Dress code - None, as long as we don't show up nude it's usually fine. (Teachers ask the wigger faggots to pull their pants up when they're around their knees, but thats more then resonable) Lunch - Open campus or school bought. Because the school isn't the primary high school we get food brought to us so we don't have much of a choice. But seeing as there is Dairy Queen, Burger King, Taco Johns, Subway and Wendy's within walking distance it's ok. Electroics - Texting during passing time is ok. We can listen to our MP3 players whenever we want, but if a teacher is trying to talk to us they will want them off. If a teacher has to ask you multiple times about your cell phone they will take it for the rest of the day and at most contact your parents about it. Dances - We don't have our own, but we attend the primary high schools. Teachers - I have no issues with the teachers. All of them are awesome. You can joke with them 99% of the time, that 1% is when it's really hectic and they're trying to keep people from fucking around when they need to be working. This is my 3'rd year at this school. It's fuckin awesome.
Sounds the same as mine, except I gave mine an 8 because it is the Main High School, and Junior high (it goes from grade 8-12) so it is a little crowded sometimes.
