Mine is still hooked up to the TV from the same date, still works like a charm. Hasnt started yellowing or anything. I still can't beat Super Mario World, hard to believe the system is already 20 years old

Holy god yes. I loved that. Best short ever. I used to try and go round on a swing because I wanted to be inside-out. I was like 6 at the time, and actually, I think I once fell off the swing and nearly broke my arm.

Sort of makes me wonder, how many of you guys held on to your old consoles? The oldest I have is my N64 (with Madden 98, Ocarina of Time, and a few other awesome games).

This show is the reason I went from being an autistic kid who didn't and couldn't do anything to having a fascination with the industrial revolution and soon after having a fascination with History, to the point that I hope to get a history degree at University.
