If these guys were not posted previously they needed to be holy shit.
Is there a download link?
The vocalist has a very Rody Walker feel, but it's still different. I like it a lot.

Studio version of TesseracT's cover of Dream Brother by Jeff Buckley (why the hell would I write Dream Theater?).
Still not sure what to think about Elliot's vocals.
Choke is a really good progressive punk/rock band from Canada. One of my favorites.

Songs do not have testicles, but if they did, this songs testicles would be the size of medium-sized planets.
Iconoclast was a great album.
I cannot believe I forgot about the band Loom. A bit on the softer side. They have a violinist. I guarantee they're unlike anything posted in this thread so far.

New album July 3rd
lol @ the cheesy video effects
Can't wait for the new album, luckily it is only slightly further away than a month.
I'm hyped. Likely gonna go to one of those shows too.
Alchemist - Spacey Proggy death metal, weak vocals though

Martyr - Techy death with slayer style thrashy vox, and some star wars references in the melodies

I know this thread has djent in the title, so I'm going to guess you guys are more into heavy chunky riffs, and polyrhythms over speed.
Decapitated - Their last two albums have taken a meshuggah esque sound mixed with their standard speed. If you like Meshuggah you should like this.

And if you want to get really technical to the point of obsurdity.
Spawn Of Possession - Pretty much.

If you guys like any of this I know many bands that have similiar sounds.
Alchemist - Spacey Proggy death metal, weak vocals though

Did you honestly just say Alchemist have weak vocals?
Have you not listened to any of their music? Have you not heard the call of the true Batman?

Example of the bat-shrieks are at 3:55 and then 4:18 to 4:24. Seriously, listen to the 6 seconds of his shrieking and tell me that's weak.
Personally, I think Alchemist have some of the best vocals in prog metal - his soft croons are very soothing, like in the first half of the above song (very hypnotic), his shouts have a kind of energetic punk feel to them, and then his bat shrieks are just "how can a human throat make such a sound, let alone the throat of a voice so deep as that?!".
I wish I knew more bands that used bat shrieks tastefully like that. The fact he doesn't use them often gives them a lot of power - they're very accentual.
Not to mention Alchemist have some great synthwork.
