also im decent but im managing
Usually 30 to 45 minutes, give or take. Never had much of a problem before, but like I said, increasing the slope has been harder on my legs.
It's kind of hard for me to rest a week, but I'll try. Last time this happened, I started getting the urge to run again by the second or third day and I'd end up doing it again. I iced it and took anti-inflammatories religiously, but it still took weeks for it to fully heal. That was a huge pain in the ass and I don't want that to happen again. So I'm really going to try my hardest to be the best couch potato I can be.
Thanks for the info, by the way. :)
Do you guys run constantly every day, every other day? Maybe not only is the intensity raised too soon, but you're running too intense infrequently.
You guys have most likely already learned your lesson of increasing intensity too soon too high but my coach tells me that if I'm trying to increase the intensity of my distance workout, raise them by 10% a week.
So let's say that I'm running 25 miles a week, 5 miles monday to friday, next week should be something around 28 miles a week.

I used to run everyday. Only have time for a few times a week now because I'm a complete fucking Melvin with school and grades.

Then maybe we'd have something to talk about.
Let's get to talking
