Good luck to everyone getting results, hope you all get what you need. I remember how nervous i was last year about results so i know your pain!
Hoping to get into University, good luck to everyone
I'm positive about my results this year for the first time, although with as levels and gcse's i surprised my self.
Shame they've frozen ucas track till 'mid-morning'. Theoretically i'll end up at Sheffield. Anyone else willing to name their uni?
I've forgotten how confident I was when I finished each exam, so now I'm just assuming I've failed all of them.
I'm predicted D-Bs, hopefully I'll get them, more worried about parents reaction though, AS by the way.
Oooh geez, just realised of course, everyone is waiting on these to find out whether their chosen uni has accepted them! Best of luck guys, hope you get where you want to go.
If it's anything like 2 years ago, I think Track comes up pretty early on. Was roughly 7/8AM I think for my sister, unless they've started doing it later since then.

They say that every year, if they said 7AM or any fixed time the site would be crushed.
I'm predicted U's
Just remember your results are not the be all and end all if you don't do as well as you think. What's done is done, enjoy it!
I sound like my dad and i'm only 19 fuck.
That being said good luck to everyone!

I agree, but that happened last time and I got 3 E's an a U in the Christmas exams.
I'm kinda worried that I have to call up and plead my case. Thinking of throwing up a portfolio of a few CS projects just incase...
GCSE's Hardly mean anything, like said on page one nearly any college will take you anyway.
As for Uni, I am shitting it, I find out in 7 hours or so. :frown:

What makes it worse is I only got a pass which isn't enough for a confirmed spot so I gotta hope there is space on my course I want, if not, into clearing I go.
I've only just started worrying about them. I mean, I was thinking throughout the summer that I've made loads of mistakes, that I should have revised more, and that I didn't put as much effort into them as I should have, but now that it's closer to the results day I'm getting worse and worse :frown:
I hate the drama people build up to them, if you made a decent effort you'll get into Uni. All this end of the world bullshit just annoys the fuck out of me.
Well, I'm just going to hope for the worst, then anything better than a U in every subject will be great.
If I do get a U in every subject, well.... I think It's time I better move the fuck on.
A-Levels btw, Not GCSEs... Multiple choice, HA... Do want those again :3:
aqa module 6 chemistry was multiple choice, my old teacher was the chief examiner for it.
that was a fun module.
Good luck everyone :)
I'm dreading getting my AS results. I'm probably going to (read: hoping to) end up with
Maths: C/B/A I really don't know about this one, I really don't know how the exam went.
Biology: C/B
Chemistry: C/B/possibly a D Once again I don't have a feeling for how the exam went.
Physics: E I failed this hard. I got an E in the first exam and had to resit it, though I did even worse in the resit. The other exam didn't really go too well either I thought.
But yeah good luck everyone.
I'm predicted
Maths - A*
Further Maths - A
French - B
I need AAB, I dunno how i've done really, one part of me thinks I have done it, the other think that I haven't
Is this A-level?
Back in my day an A was the highest you could get
Just to let fellow Uni hopefulls that some Uni's now have Clearing lists available. Check their sites.
Good luck people. I think I will be in clearing :byodood:
Is this A-level?

yup; this year you can get A*. it requires around 90% in every module, if I'm not mistaken.
i'm bricking it for tomorrow; I need ABC or BBB to get into Nottingham.
personally, these are the grades I'm predicting for myself:
Art - A
English - B
Maths - B
Music - C or D (yup; took 4 a-levels).
so hopefully, unless I do especially bad in english and maths (I've received an award in "academic achievement" from school for my art so I think I'm pretty secure with the A - and I also heard rumours for getting 97/100).
if I have to go through clearing, I'm terrified. on the ucas site I don't see any courses for philosophy (they're all philosophy + X) and I really want to do it :frown:
HOLY FUCK YES

Lancashire here I come! :350::350::350::350:
Oh shit I am so happy right now you have no idea. I love Clearing, I fucking love it :dance:
My little bro's got his As levels back tommorow.
He's shitting himself, but I know he'll do fine.
Which university/which subject are you hoping to go to with those results?
I'm hoping to do Maths at Bath
We'll see what the morning brings eh?

Great, the course I wanted to get in doesn't have any spots, and I doubt I made the exact requirements but got close. Guess I can sleep in and get my results later.

Heh, next year I'll be applying to uni probably to do maths. I think Bath'll be one of my options :v:
How confident are you with further maths? I did one of the modules for my ASes and it was by far the hardest exam I had, I was confident about all of my results until I sat that one.
Well, Edexcel have posted their results online.
A in Maths, C in Further Maths. Pretty much what I'd predicted. Got myself my Uni place!
Managed to finally log into ucas- seems my insurance uni has changed to unconditional so I guess that means I got in there. Just need to wait to see about my main now.
Yup just as I thought, in clearing.
Got Sheffield as i wanted, doing some Comp Sci course :smug:
