Your place at The University of Sheffield (S18) to study Computer Science (3 years) (G402) has been confirmed.
On the front page after i logged in.
Well fuck, a CCD is a far cry from the BBC I wanted. UCAS wise up.
Got Sheffield as i wanted, doing some Comp Sci course :smug: [editline]08:08AM[/editline] Now to wait for results at like 11.
My brother goes to Sheffield, awesome university.
Yeah i still got into it eventually, told me On the front page after i logged in.
Grats, trying to get into computing too
Soon this will be me. Fortunatly I already have UE, lets just hope I'll be accepted into something.
Just on my way to my final year I can't even remember what GCSEs I am waiting for the results :v:
omg i faile englisch [editline]08:40AM[/editline]
HOLY FUCK YES http://www.ucas.com/ucas10/datafiles/C30L435.html Lancashire here I come! :350::350::350::350: Oh shit I am so happy right now you have no idea. I love Clearing, I fucking love it :dance:
You're doing that course in September? That's the one I did in 2007, and my girlfriend starts in September.
Got a b in AS biology, b in AS history and B in A-level psychology. Just need to get a b or higher in the AS English exam next year to get the diploma with distinction. Doing the AICE diploma thing, since I still cannot speak Finnish so qualifications from the Finnish education side are going to be pretty much unobtainable.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFuck I have to wait until I get my GCSE result for English to see if I'm in or not
So I'm posting while I wait for Leeds to open their office at 9am so I can tell them I want to be released into clearing so I can get my change-of-mind reserved place for computer science at Manchester to be confirmed. ...hectic stuff
I got into Bath
AAAA in Maths, Further Maths, Computing and Physics. :D
Got in to where I wanted. Happy now.
Where I live its VCE. At the end of the year you get what called an ATAR or ENTER score, its out of 100, so getting 80+ plus will get you into most advanced courses, your subjects are also graded out of 50, with 30 being the average most years. You can pretty much predict what you get by the time exams come. History Revolutions (35) National Politics (33)- hardest subject im doing, though im getting better. Art (50)- So far I havent dropped a mark. Studio Arts (40) English (35) So not bad, not great, but it was probably the worst time for me to do year 12, but im applying for Special Entry Access next year for my courses.
I don't know my results but I got in! HIGH FIVE
I'm predicted Maths - A* Further Maths - A French - B I need AAB, I dunno how i've done really, one part of me thinks I have done it, the other think that I haven't
How the fuck can you get away with only doing that. Further maths is just maths but just more of it. Not even another whole alevels worth.
Not even another whole alevels worth.
Oh dear :/
Further Maths is very much a full new A level, it's a different variant on pure maths than normal maths, and much better for a deeper understanding of why the maths in normal maths works.
Well, I failed, the best part was I saw this coming since June.
HAHAHAhahahaha aahahahahahaHAHHAHA WOOOOO! :v: [editline]10:38AM[/editline] yes!
I got 220 points, I needed 280 to get in so I'm going to ring the people at 2pm and see what's up. If not I'll just take a foundation degree in the same thing. To those who have bad As-Level results, it happens every year. Its motivation to work hard the next year and so you should, good luck and congrads to all.
AS Results. Maths (Mechanics) - A Economics - A Physics - B Chemistry - B Very disappointed about Chemistry, thought I did much better. Pretty much means I can't get into a good university for the sciences. Guess I'll have to pursue it in maths/finance instead.
Predicting that I got DUB... about to head off. DUB wouldn't be bad, I've had a fucking horrible year. Wish me luck!
Getting my AS's in an hour, I just hope I passed English, IT and Sociology, though I'm sure I failed English as I only did question one. :downs:
Wake up, log on, both my offers unsuccessful :/ Really disappointed.
No one told me what I was predicted, but I got mostly As and stars on my GCSE mocks. Still, if it weren't for the fact that I need 6 As to get back in, I wouldn't be bothered by my results. So yeah, next Tuesday, here's hoping.
AS results C D E U Im fucked
Mine won't be much better BAR, going getting them in 10 minutes. :frown:
