All you ASes bricking it need to chill out. Retakes are 1000% easier because you've done it all before. I generally got a U the first time round on almost all my exams, then retook and brought them up to at least a C.
D - Environmental Science U - Physics U - Maths Hooray for being clever...
AS results C D E U Im fucked
Try again next year, and yes you are fucked.
Yay for us! How many marks did you get for cswk/exam?
114 for CW, 70 for exam.
114 for CW, 70 for exam.
I got 115 and 73 :dance::dance:
Anyone that didn't meet their college's requirements don't worry too much. I did shit in my GCSEs(Last year) due to circumstances at the time, and I just talked with the guys doing admissions and explained my experience(It's a programming/general IT course) and they put me on it. Starting my second year in September. I'm wondering whether it's worth retaking my GCSE English(Got a D) before uni. If I get the required UCAS points, will it matter?

A2 results: Biology B Chemistry C Physics C General Studies D General studies doesn't count since it's about as useful as a qualification as being able to pick your nose. I got the points I needed anyway to go to Northumbria University.
A -Art B -Physics D -Spanish D -Maths could have been worse
Got my AS results today. A - ICT B - Maths, repeating 2 modules. C - Business Studies, repeating 2 modules. Yay for repeats...
Fucked up A2. Will be lucky to get into any Uni. FML. [editline]02:59PM[/editline] What's lame is, I don't know if my insurance has accepted me because of UCAS, and even if I'm trying to call around Uni's beforehand, it's been busy non-stop since I've started trying at 10am.
After 4 hours of trying finally got through to the uni only to be told that they havn't even bothered reviewing the results so I need to try again either later today or tomorrow. :argh:
GCSE results a week today. I am quite worried.
Got my AS's through :( Fine Art - C History - C Biology - E Chemistry - U It was annoying, my mate kept on going on about how bad her exams were and how shes gonna have failed EVERYTHING and how she won't be able to get into Cambridge (oh no, poor her), whilst I was quietly worrying that I was gonna get kicked out of college cuz I knew I hadn't done well. I got the above, she got straight A's. And she didn't bother doing any work till the last minute. I was so gutted, and she just went off and left me on my own so she could get high. I know I didn't do too bad but i'm still pissed off. Well done everyone who got good grades by the way :)
God, after reading this thread I am so glad that I chose to do a course in college that doesn't have exams. I hate that nervousness that you get when waiting for results.

Don't worry about your results, you need and will work much harder next year if you really want to get to uni.
Distinction Distinction, yay. That means I'm off to University of Central Lancashire in under a month :ohdear: Anyone else going there? I require friends :v:. I know Hezzy and a few other mods go there (or maybe this past year was their last? I'm not sure) but yeah.

I only went to college because I heard that if you have some AS levels or A levels you can get a better apprenticeship (which is what I really want to do). But after doing some research into the new apprenticeships it seems that maybe thats not true anyway. So if I find a job or apprenticeship that I like I won't bother going back, but if I don't i'll finish the 2 years and then see what I can find. And yeah your right, that makes me feel kinda better. Thanks :)
A*A*A*AA Fuck. Yes.
Friend got A*A*A*AB I got A* math, A Computing, B Physics, C general studies on the other hand.
Just called Plymouth uni, they've provisionally accepted me.
Congrats! :keke:
Just called Plymouth uni, they've provisionally accepted me.
Grats! I'm off to University of Central Lancashire in under a month :ohdear: Anyone else going there? I require friends. I know Autumn, Lithifold, Cosmic Duck, Hezzy and a few other mods go there (or maybe this past year was their last? I'm not sure) but yeah, doubt they'll want to hang with me :v:.
B - Business Studies A - Computing C - Economics Quite happy with that Economics result since I resat unit one after getting an E in it. These are just AS-Level results by the way not full A levels.
A2 B-C-D in Applied Business, History and Classical Civilisations respectively. Pretty much got what I expected, going on to do History at Plymouth in a month.
Just called Plymouth uni, they've provisionally accepted me.
Awesome.
God damn, I won't know till tomorrow if I got into uni or not. FECKSAKE
Need to find people going Sheffield. :|
Awesome.

Grats!

Congrats! :keke:
Thanks guys, when I saw my status this morning I was sure I was going to be at college again for another year, but I am very happy I get to go to uni now.
So I got my AS results English - D, thought I'd get a B, retaking Music Tech - B, thought I'd get a D, may resubmit coursework as exam mark was an A Psychology - E, Not retaking, hate the subject
A - Business Studies int2 B - Art Higher B - Philosophy Higher C - English Higher C - Computing Higher Appealing for a better grade in English and Art.
Anyone know which grades are uploaded to UCAS for the Uni's to see? Cause I need just 1 UMS point from coursework to bump up a grade that I reckon I could have by Christmas and I don't want Uni's getting the wrong impression.
