Anyone know which grades are uploaded to UCAS for the Uni's to see? Cause I need 1 UMS point from coursework to bump up a grade and I don't want Uni's getting the wrong impression.
I'm not sure but I think unis look at the points as well as the grades. Some even just look at points, I think.
Sweet, I got all comfortably mid range grades anyway apart from the coursework
Woo! I got, A*- Biology A - Chemistry A - Maths B - Extended project Now I'm off to Imperial college London for a nice ol' chemistry degree, looks like I should be taking Biology :S P.S First post, might as well be me bragging about my grades. Been a long time lurker, should of joint long ago. Hey everyone!
My sister got 3 As, she's doing Law at Warwick, my brother is doing Biological Science at Warwick too and my sister is doing Illustration at London Met City Campus. Very proud of my siblings, now we're all at uni!
Having a huge issue with the UCAS website, assuming it's overloaded. Can anyone else access https://track.ucas.com/ucastrack/Login.jsp? It's come up a few times but when I log in it errors again
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-11029257 [editline]07:44PM[/editline] probably why
Got my AS results: D in Sociology U in German E in English lit'n'lang E in General Studies E in IT. Everyone at my school seems to have gotten at least 1 E in everything, with many getting more than 3 and the other 2 being U's. :ohdear:
I was worrying for nothing, heading off to Portsmouth for Palaeontology. :buddy:
Couldn't really be a worse time for you lot finishing your A-levels. There's barely any places left in the uni's and there's no jobs available for those who didn't get in. Still.. Good luck to you.
Just got offered a place at Blackburn Uni, not the best of cities but the uni looks nice and I think I will be happier on this course than my original. Community Policing and Justice Management Anyone want to share a house?
Did anyone else, that took Maths and Further Maths on AQA, have their Stats module (S1b) put into FM and Decision 1 put into Maths?
I took Further Maths in my first year, and I was one of four people at my college who's in this situation. I was told they would sort it within 24 hours and UCAS seems to have updated it now. It's strange though, I took Maths on OCR and it's the same problem.
My sister got Maths, Further Maths and Further Physics and she got A on all of those, what is more she took STEP for maths and she did pretty well. Now she's at Cambridge studying Engineering.
Even though i was unsuccessful in getting into my original uni choices the university of wales offered me a clearing place. Its my birthday too. woop.
Congrats.

Yesssssssssssssssssss. Just got accepted by my firm choice- Keele
Congrats :) I just accepted my offer :banjo:
Still no bloody word for University of Ulster, gosh darnit. I didn't meet my grades but they haven't decided, no spots open in clearing, what are my chances?
BCCDE :frown:
AAAA in Maths, Further Maths, Computing and Physics. :D
>:( I got AAA in Maths, Further Maths and Physics but B in Computing. I'm quite surprised actually, I expected a B in Further Maths and an A in Computing.
How the fuck can you get away with only doing that. Further maths is just maths but just more of it. Not even another whole alevels worth.
Yes it is another whole A-Level's worth, you do twice as many modules, at least at my school.
Shitting it for my GCSE's. I know I'll have fucked up somewhere.

You have to broaded your choices a little bit, also give Ulster a ring and just ask if they have come to a decision yet. Goodluck
Happy with my results :D I got 3 B's in Business Studies, ICT and Economics. Off to Sheffield Hallam to do Business Studies which only required 3 C's, so I could've gone for a 'better' uni but I'm looking forward to going to Hallam.
Anyone else only just wake up? Was out celebrating my Bristol place and didn't get to bed till 5am.
Yay, I did badly. Two motherfucking D's (Wasn't allowed to take another A2 because it clashed with the subjects I was taking.) I like being told that my submitted coursework are definitely A/B's then seeing that I got only C's and D's. Going on to do Foundation Degree now for two years, followed by a one year honours degree. Couldn't stand to do my A2's again in that shithole of a so called "sixth form college." Sorry, I'll end my rage here.
I got my Enlgish Lit and English Lang IGCSE results from CIE. Both As. :)
got my AS results today, BBCE, in English, Economics, History and Spanish - would have been fine with it if it wasn't for the fact that i missed out on A's in economics and English by one and four marks(percent) :(
Shitting it for my GCSE's. I know I'll have fucked up somewhere.
They'll be fine, I got A*s, As and Bs with like a day of revision before an exam. That's all the revision I did all year. My first attempt at AS I revised like shit through all the year and got 1 D and 2 Us :downs:

I taught myself art (had time with a tutor a couple of times a week) because it clashed with Chemistry. Whereabouts are you doing your foundation course? Camberwell College of Art here.
