Soft of not looking forward to my GCSE results, but I'll be damned if I get less than a C for a subject, and taking CIDA is one of the worst decisions I ever made, but I took Maths last year and got an A, but I've failed further maths, but I'm taking Maths at A level (maths, electronics, computing and physics, probably not unlike half this thread), so I don't really care. And no one in my family (including me) is going to be within 100 miles of my school, so that complicates things.
AS here: Maths - A Physics - A Chemistry - A Biology (lol shit subject) - A. So pretty decent. [editline]12:48AM[/editline]
So I'm posting while I wait for Leeds to open their office at 9am so I can tell them I want to be released into clearing so I can get my change-of-mind reserved place for computer science at Manchester to be confirmed. ...hectic stuff
Hey man I'm pretty sure I know a guy doing CS at manchester next year!
Bad times. I taught myself art (had time with a tutor a couple of times a week) because it clashed with Chemistry. Whereabouts are you doing your foundation course? Camberwell College of Art here. [editline]11:28PM[/editline] :bahgawd:
I'm actually doing it at Northumbria University. I feel like I've cheated myself in cause I am going to end up with the same degree I would have got if I had did good.
AS here: Maths - A Physics - A Chemistry - A Biology (lol shit subject) - A. So pretty decent.
High five. I know you go to a grammar school and stuff so it's expected of you there (lol this thread last year) but honestly, well done. I got pretty much the same.
:bahgawd:
Ahahaha, I have to admit, that gloat felt pretty good  But yeah... we kick arse at art :smug: I think my result has encouraged me to do some art modules at uni... philosophy with a few subsidary art modules sounds like a good combination to me
I'm actually doing it at Northumbria University. I feel like I've cheated myself in cause I am going to end up with the same degree I would have got if I had did good.
I pissed my teachers off something fierce because they knew I should have got As or A*s in my other subjects, but I became complacent when I decided to go to art college. By the time I realised I'd be letting myself down and cutting off options, it was already too late. The last few months of year 13 were damage control from me. Managed to pull them up from two Us to two Cs though. Still, I will look back on this time with regret and that's something I'll have to carry with me for the rest of my life. Shitting it over my results. Tuesday. I hope i get at least 3. Otherwise my college (Barton Peveril) will say 'NO U DUMB'

It's an hour and twenty minutes each way; two tubes and a bus. I'm thinking I'll try and make friends with someone living in halls so I have a place to crash nearby.
Holy shit o.o you should just get a place there
AAB, needed BBC. Games programming at Teesside yeeeah. Exam board killed the IT marks though. 945/999 should be A*A* not AB ):

[editline]12:48AM[/editline] Hey man I'm pretty sure I know a guy doing CS at manchester next year!
Cool. By next year, do you mean deferred entry or he's still in college or something? Good job on the results by the way, especially on biology since you didn't like it. Also my music teacher is bad at predicting marks. He said my composition could get full marks, it got a C. He gave everyone near full marks for performance at AS, this year it wasn't marked by him and I got a D. He always banged on about how you would get the exam wrong unless you revised months in advance. I didn't, and both years I got an A. :|
This was a total fluke for me, basically I got denied from my original uni choice which was History at Canterbury, they denied me due to me not getting the grades (i got more points than they wanted but hey). Now via clearing im going to a better uni and im doing a course much more suited to me.
getting only my maths GCSE result tomorrow, as i did it a year early. I think it would be pretty impressive if i go an A* seeing as i took the exam when i was 14 :D

In the November early exam, I got a C Tomorrow, I'm hoping I got a B, because I know I did way better this summer than before.
Bricking it about results tomorrow. This thread's calmed me down though. It's nice to hear the voices of the people in the same boat as you. Ta, Facepunch. G'luck with your results!
For my A-levels I have chosen Maths, Physics and Chemistry. In addition, I was going to have further Maths too, but I thought that lot would be way too much to handle, so I've gone for 3 A levels to focus on. good choice? Bear in mind that any 4th subject I would've chosen I can't do because they are at the same time as my other subjects (such as photography which conflicts with Physics), so I can't really take any other subjects (I would either fail or hate them) Oh, and I'm a tad on edge about tomorrow's results :P
Getting increasingly worried about tomorrow D:
Can anyone who's had EMA tell me how much you tend to actually spend on school related stuff and whats its like having the leftover as spending money. I'm going to be getting the thirty pound a week EMA.
Can anyone who's had EMA tell me how much you tend to actually spend on school related stuff and whats its like having the leftover as spending money. [editline]02:37PM[/editline] And I can probably say that on behalf of everyone who got EMA

I'm glad I don't have my old maths teacher any more, she once brought in a Barrett 50.cal dissembled and put it all together. EDIT: Once one of the priests shown us live ammunition and ivory.

Most stuff you get from the school and anything else is probably around the house.
^ That's hot @ Night. I want your teacher. RESULTS TOMORROW. I need 6 As to get back into Latymer and I didn't exactly put effort into revision... Coupled with the fact that I usually finish about 45 minutes before the exam ends, I'm not so hot on my results.

Do you guys know if the Edexcel results will be online tonight?
Well i'll be getting up early tomorrow to go get my gcse results I have nothing too big to worry about, I think I already have enough to get onto the course I want to I just need to cram 3 days worth of worrying (I thought it was on thursday) into 1 to worry for my brother.
Do you guys know if the Edexcel results will be online tonight?
I signed up to the Edexcel thing today with my pin and the email says they'll be up 6:00 tomorrow. The site will probably crash though because of the amount of people trying to login.
Damn it house hunting is hard.
I'm not too bad on my results, not looking forward to it but I don't think I'll go to sleep tonight.
