10 hours to go for me... whoo.
I felt sad for a long time before results day. I knew I had failed to get what I needed. Needed: BCC for Psychology at Chichester. As if. Check UCAS on 19th, before results, and it says the unthinkable!
Congratulations!
:fuckyou: My grades are terrible, I feel so bloody lucky. Psy - C Bio - D Math - E
All the confidence I felt straight after those exams have gone shooting out of my arse and now I've just got little pangs of worry when I think about it. :downs: Grades to get back into 6th form here are ridiculously low (for Methody), something like: B's in your chosen A level subjects and 2 C's. Pretty much not worried about getting back in.
Damn, I never realized how many friggin' Brits we have on this forum. ... it is a British exam, right?

But, if you don't get A*-C in Maths/English, you still get into 6th form, on the condition you retake whichever exam to meet the requirements...
... it is a British exam, right?
Yup. What I just said could be a pile of bollocks for all I know. Though, my school doesn't hold center for retakes. [editline]00:15AM[/editline]
Applicants to Lower Sixth must have achieved the following grades subject to the clauses below: 1. a minimum of 6 GCSE passes at Grade ‘C’ or above (all taken by the end of Form 5) 2. a grade ‘B’ or above in each of the subjects to be taken at AS level (or in a related subject if the AS subject is first available at that level). There are exceptions to this standard; details of which can be found in the Sixth Form Subject Choices Booklet.
Cool, I was right :smug:

Wow, we have some veeeery smart people here, congrats!
All C's, I had A's and B's as predicted grades. But the stress of it all really made me loose focus.
I got A* in both subjects that I took this year, but my fucking brother got 13.5 fucking A*s so I need to beat that next year.
4 D's and 6 C's which I am happy with. But my ICT grades are no where to be seen and that is by a country mile my best subject. Anyone know where I can get them? edit: All you people with A's complaining shut the fuck up :(
Oh, and results, got enough to get into my college of choice, mostly A's a few B's, pretty happy.
getting only my maths GCSE result tomorrow, as i did it a year early. I think it would be pretty impressive if i go an A* seeing as i took the exam when i was 14 :D
Yeah I,m the same just waiting for it to arrive now. Don't really care what I get as I can repeat it next year.
Biology: A* Chemistry: A* Physics: A* Maths: A* French: A English Language: A English Literature: A DT (Electronic products): A History: A Drama: B History I was expecting MUCH worse.
