Illegal Immigrants (Border Jumpers)=1 Major Cause of Deficient Economy

I'm pretty sure its our Government destroying our economy and not some Mexican's.
Interesting fact: Cesar Millan (presenter of "the dog whisperer"), began by working in a dog grooming parlour.

Seems pretty beneficial to the economy if you ask me.
I think the whole job-robbing argument is bullshit. I find it disgusting that some American citizens would rather be jobless than to take up certain jobs, like working at a McDonalds or landscaping. The people who emigrate to this country don't really do so just to sit on their ass. They work hard for their living, often harder than a lot of American citizens that are above their economical class.
"Major"
Yeah, there's problems with it, but there's much larger issues with the American economy than this. It's not economically viable to use money on educating Mexicans that then go home and earn money there, but it's not really that many, and lets face it, Mexico has got larger issues than the U.S.

The problem with jobs like those is that they pay minimum wage. Adults, especially college educated adults, have mortgages, credit card bills, car payments, college loans, cell phone bills, health insurance, life insurance, auto insurance, utility bills, groceries, and even children that they have to provide for. Low-skill, low-pay jobs, such as working at McDonalds or mowing grass, simply do not provide enough income to support the average American family. Even working two full-time jobs, they'd only be grossing around $2200/month. According to this source, the average mortgage rate alone is nearly $1000/month. After you factor in the other bills and taxes, they're still flat broke and going nowhere. And that's working 80 hour weeks.
There's a reason those jobs are typically reserved for teenagers.
Though I agree, the job-robbing argument is bullshit.
I really don't see how immigrants take jobs. They don't know english that well, and they still manage to beat you out on a job? Hm.

Yeah because they'll work for way less money and benefits
If you have to say that you're not being racist twice and, in the process, you say "colored people", you're probably racist.
Or he's trying to be politicaly correct. Which either way is stupid. It's like saying reverse racism, racism is the act of descrimination by [in essence] skin colour. YOU CAN'T REVERSE THAT! IT'S A VERY FUCKING UNIVERSAL TERM GOD DAMN IT!
Affermative action is racism
KKK is racism
Just because you put it under a new name that doesn't make it something that it's not, hell I could call chicken nuggets, ham and cheese sandwiches but, they'd still be fucking chicken nuggets.
And honestly these people come here and work the jobs that really only teenagers would work because they have no real costs of living and it's really a shitty job. Fast food jobs get you treated like shit, smell like shit and pay for shit. I've worked on a ranch for about half my life and honestly it's blow ass hard as dicks work with shitty pay and long ass fucking hours. They do these jobs because they're just happy to be here and having a job.
Yeah because they'll work for way less money and benefits
I can't find any decent information about that claim, but it seems they earn 60-80% of citizens in similar jobs. However, the NPR reports that wages are only deflated by 3-8% for citizens due to competition from illegals, and that this primarily affects highschool dropouts, while not affecting other types of workers very much.
It's not the #1 Major cause of Deficient Economy but it is a factor in it. I think the #1 cause is the government overspending and getting too involved in people's lives with their decisions.
Who fucking cares about highschool drop outs. They're useless members of society and deserve to work manual labour for little to no pay anyway.

Wow that is so sympathetic of you
There's problems on both sides. There's statistics both ways.
On the conservative side, there's Maywood, California. Here's an article about it.
Basically, the claim is that so many illegal immigrants moved into this industrial town, that it collapsed the economy.
Another article on the opposite side. This states that illegal immigrants can switch jobs more easily, and more flexibly help the economy.
Also, I found this site which seems to be a nice Pro/Con situation.

On Maywood.
By the 1980s, however, assembly plants began relocating, businesses closed, and the white majority began moving out of deindustrializing Maywood in Los Angeles County and into neighboring suburbs in Orange County. Whites followed higher-paying jobs in the burgeoning manufacturing sector, while the demand for low-wage labor in Southeast Los Angeles’ manufacturing district contributed to the Latinization of its inner suburbs. Despite the privilege Maywood had previously enjoyed as an industrial-residential hub, by 2000 per capita income had fallen to well below that of suburbs in Orange County. Today, manufacturing remains the leading industry employing residents (22%), but many are employed in low-paying production, transportation, and material-moving occupations (42%) (U.S. Census Bureau, 2000). Maywood’s downward mobility is similar to other manufacturing suburbs in Southern California, whose residents suffer from compressed wages. The combination of newly vacated housing, proximity to factory work, and the end of racially restrictive housing covenants made Maywood a popular site for new immigrants.
Immigrants didn't cause economic problems they were a result of them.

everything you have read on affirmative action is probably incorrect

I woudln't say that the US government is too involved in people's life. If anything, they should raise the taxes, get that damn free health care, support people who go to college and so forth, instead of making them pay for it. That would get much more people educated, and the people that get educated will get a higher salary than people working with, say, baked beans. That means that they pay more taxes, and thus they pay for the next generetaion.
