I just wanted to let you guys know that mixing mayonaise with a good bit of ketchup and stirring it until its pinkish is DELICIOUS. It's reminiscent of McChicken sauce. Dip some fries or whatever in there and report back to this thread to let me know how you find it. Yes I know it sounds gross.
Yeah it's basically Thousand Island Dressing, but without the relish. I do that on the rare occasion I make fishsticks.
Isn't the McChicken sauce just mayo?
I don't think there's some sort of Thousand Island on that.

it is just plain mayo
Omit the relish, sprinkle in some cayenne pepper and mix in some horseradish and you've got Burger King's Zesty Onion Ring sauce. Its funny as my brother loves the shit out of the Zesty sauce but otherwise avoids horseradish like it will turn him into dunno what.
Try mixing mustard with Helmann's or similar, shit is the nectar of GODS. Goes really well on a good greaseburger at midnight.

Here in Utah, we call that fry sauce. Fucking casuals.

At least I'm not from Utah.
Add a little bit of Pitzman's in there for flavor. I'm pretty comfortable with it so I tend to use a lot.
How about some Thai mayonnaise?
7 cups mayo
2 TBSP fish sauce
3 TBSP onion powder
1 TBSP garlic
2 TBSP sesame oil
4 TBSP sriracha
3 TBSP chili garlic
6 TBSP sugar
1 TBSP soy sauce
Sorry for massive recipe, it's from my restaurant and I didn't feel like reducing the portions. Seriously though it's the best damned sauce I've ever had.

:suicide:
That's what they call "Fancy Sauce" in the movie Step Brothers.
Pretty fuckin' good flick if you haven't seen it.
Shit tier sauce. Ketchup is the devil.
So, a sour'ish/heinz'ish sort of ketchup, or more of a sweeter/milder kind?

Combining mayonnaise and ketchup makes it taste sweeter/milder. Here in the UK, mayonnaise and ketchup mixed together is also known as Marie Rose Sauce, or cocktail sauce. If you want it more sour/zingy add some Worcestershire sauce and a dash of lemon juice.
I've always loved tomato sauce with Worcestershire sauce, like homemade barbecue sauce. Mmmm.
Ketchup + mustard + mayonnaise is a great mix
Put some fried onions in it
We call it "Cocktail sauce" here really. You can just buy cocktail sauce itself, no mixing lol.

What could I have with it?
What could I have with it?
failing all else, prawns are a good start.
either that, or you could try fried fish and chips at a pinch.
A better option would be trying to use it on a hotdog or burger, or maybe tater tots.

That's interesting to me, because I've always known cocktail sauce as ketchup, horseradish and lemon juice mixed together. I find its best to mix that yourself as premades can have some seriously weird results. Last one I tried tasted of black licorice, and I don't care for that taste at all, especially on my fried shrimp.
