camp weedonwantcha is pretty good Ma3 is ok, I used to like it. www.ma3comic.com It's really nsfw though.
Problem Sleuth was pretty grand.
Qwantz (AKA dinosaur comics) and SMBC (Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal) are great that I used to read all the time. Terror Island is also excellent but sadly over.
Boxer Hockey A pretty longrunning webcomic, although the author doesn't release as often as he used to.

Unsounded is absolutely beautiful. It does cool shit like this
[t]http://broodhollow.chainsawsuit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/2012-11-14-Broodhollow.jpg[/t] Broodhollow is set during the Prohibition era, and features a nervous, schizophrenic and paranoid wandering salesman in the titular town to accept inheritance. What initially seems like an extremely quirky town seems to have a dark, Silent Hill-esque underside going on. At least, he thinks so, but his mental status is questionable. [t]http://girlyyy.com/comics/girly_0001.gif[/t] Girly is about a monotone girl named Otra who meets a bubbly, obnoxious girl named Winter. While both clash, eventually they become friends, [sp]girlfriends[/sp], and go on adventures and shit. It tends to be very flamboyant and lighthearted. NSFW warning. There are sexual moments however they never actually show peoples dicks and nipples and whatnots. However the artist who drew the comic does do NSFW stuff in other comics so that might be floating around not in the comic itself. I haven't read this one since I was a lot younger but I've been meaning to give this a re-read and it's a lot of fun from what I remember. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54123195/lackadaisy5.png[/t] Lackadaisy Cats is another one set in the Prohibition era, in 1927 St. Louis. I read this one a long time ago and struggled to follow the plot (however this isn't necessarily the comics fault, when I was younger I failed to follow several stories) but what I can tell you is that it centers in a 1927 St. Louis, and is about a speakeasy, hidden, illegal bars which sold liquor during the prohibition's ban of alcohol, which had strong links to organized crime. The comic does follow anthropomorphic cats, which should set off some people's furry alarms. However, I would say it does this about as tastefully as possible, and in my mind, has less in common with furry shit and more in common with old cartoons. Lackadaisy if nothing else is memorable for it's frankly fantastic art quality.
This might be nostalgia, since I read this one a long time ago, but I liked a faux sprite comic named Kid Radd (it used sprites, but the author drew all of them). It's about a generic platformer guy escaping his game and entering a hub world with all the other escaped characters. The interaction of mechanics from different games was really cool. Also he saves the world or some shit http://www.bgreco.net/kidradd/
surprised owl turd hasn't been mentioned yet it's full of shenanigans... ...en http://owlturd.com/ [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/XeNFL6x.png[/img_thumb]
A Lesson is Learned But The Damage is Irreversible - http://alessonislearned.com/ Not being made anymore, and there's only a couple of dozen comics, but the art is incredible and some of them are confusingly touching. Illustrated by the artist behind Braid. They're not really space babies though, they were just in space briefly. [img_thumb]http://www.daisyowl.com/comic_images/85.gif[/img_thumb]
i've been rereading octopus pie. it's really really good. i love the artist, meredith gran, who's done a couple adventure time comics too. it's pretty damn long since it's been going forever, but i do recommend starting from the beginning. the writing/art get dramatically better as you go. i feel like every fucking page has some kind of burn or stinger i wanna crop out and use for later that's how much i dig it
