Whats the big issue with Nickelbak anyways? I like their stuff :(
99.9% of their stuff sounds the same.
They sold out

Every song sounds exactly the same, and as my dear friend dopey trout so eloquently stated: "Every song chad kroeger sings is about his cock"
And it's true:
Unless you listen to sampled cement mixers with mongolian throat rapping over the top of it you're not hipster enough for us.
But hey that's probably too deep for you :smugdog::pipe:
Hipsters are mainstream BTW
Hipsters are mainstream BTW
What are you talking about?
I was Hipster before being Hipster was cool, I pioneered sampling of underwater salt lakes (they exist, but they're just too deep for you) for use in ambient drone.

But they're becoming mainstream, so it's not cool anymore! :v:

Sharks are also mainstream but they're still cool, your argument is invalid.
I'm not a hipster by the way.
I went to a vintage fair today and have never before seen a greater concentration of hipsters

To make it even worse, it's one of the 500 original 12" singles, never been listened too in mint condition.

So do I....
Frankie??? :psyboom:
Rap is pretty cool but the most of the mainstream stuff sucks in my opinion.
I think Rap is amazing, but how the culture is portrayed in general is pretty poor. Then that culture gets popular among people and it becomes accepted. Foolishness it is.

I played my first gig in the union of an art college.

Also. Got tickets for the Scottish Tattoo Convention next week, and just ordered a new Railcard and tickets for Toto in London. Damn successful day :buddy:
Can't wait to hear Opeth's Damnation for the first time. Anyone like it?
Good album, wouldn't stack it up to the rest of theirs though to be honest. There are some lovely songs on it though :3:
Yeah I understand that, since they've been Death and Black Prog Metal then suddenly going to Prog Rock for one album.
It's not so much the genre changing, it's more the fact that it's Opeth without what make Opeth as strong as they normally are, namely, the contrast between light and heavy. That and the production is much more sparse feeling than their earlier and later work, though granted it was very rushed

IIRC they were going to release this and Deliverance as a double album but decided against it.
