I don't know why but for some reason, in kickass, [sp]the scene where Big Daddy dies[/sp] was pretty sad. I'm not sure why...
The hardest was obviously Saving Private Ryan but that's been said a lot.
i dont know why but when [sp]that 10 year old girl watched her dad get burned alive while tied to a chair[/sp]
it was kinda sad
The end of Reservoir Dogs hit me pretty hard.
[sp]Mr.White[/sp] trusted him, he believed in him, fucking risked his life for him and [sp]Mr.Orange[/sp] just fucks him over.
SAW I, when[sp]Dr. Gordon is desperately trying to save his family ("MY FAMILY NEEDS MEEE!!! AARRGHHHH!!!"), and he goes ahead and saws off his own foot... the first time I watched it, it made me feel pretty shocked, not because of the blood, but I could vividly "feel" what he felt at that moment :/[/sp]
SAW III,[sp]at the very begginning, when Detective Matthews is trapped and he's screaming the name of his son, trying to release himself from the chain on his ankle, right before he decides to break his foot to set himself free... same as SAW I :/[/sp]
SAW V, when[sp]the last 2 "players" had to put their arms in that sawing machine in order to to fill a beaker with their blood... I could almost feel the pain in my own arms :S[/sp]
Those were the only 3 moments when the SAW franchise really hit me...

Irrevèrsible... the ending hit me like a fucking freight train :smith:
I'm thinking season three episode four of the Sopranos.
Spoiler won't ruin the episode or plot of the series but just if you're curious.
[sp]Tony's therapist is raped in a parking garage. This may be the most brutal scene I have ever seen as it is so raw and will make you hesitant to make a rape joke. The rape scene in Last House on the Left barely compares, it is so bad.[/sp]
Pursuit of happyness, in a positive way in this scene:
SPOILERS!

In part 6 of The Pacific when the radioman [sp]is calling artillery fire but starts vomiting up blood then they see he has been shot in the chest and he dies, also when leckie gets blown up looking for a medic[/sp]
Also, when [sp]eugene's friend is shot in the head[/sp] that was a sad episode...
Not a movie, though there are those times on Dexter where I had "OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooOoOOOOooooooooooo!" moments.
Which Dexter?

The ending of Taxi Driver
The conclusion (won't say ending, because that's not entirely true) of Shutter Island: [sp]when "you find out" that the main character (forget his name and title) was actually the 'convict' he was trying to find.[/sp] But you're still so compelled to believe the main character [sp]and want it all to be him actually going crazy, as the evidence in the movie points both ways.[/sp]
Exteremly good movie.
I haven't watched Shutter Island yet, many people say it's pretty good... I'll have to wait to watch it when the DVD comes along!
It's incredible. Recommend 100%.
I was in tears after the bathtub scene in seven pounds.
I cried in Wall-e.
Bridge to Terabithia. I was shocked when [sp]Leslie Died[/sp].
United 93. Damn that was sad.

Read the book after you see it by the way.
Up, "married life" montage. I nearly cried.
Gran Torino, the ending.
The last 20 minutes or so of Dead Poet Society, which I just watched this weekend. It really got me when Neil's dad just sits there wailing; he really did care.
Up, "married life" montage. I nearly cried.
Don't lie, you did. Whoever didn't is a heartless pile of waste.
Either Taxi Driver, or The opening spaghetti-westernesque scene in Inglourious Basterds. One of my favorite scenes.
Don't lie, you did. Whoever didn't is a heartless pile of waste.
I didn't.
What always bugged me about the montage though is the fact its not explained why they can have a Child.
Moon, Donnie Darko, District Nine. These all got me pretty hard.
[editline]06:49PM[/editline]
Also, try to use spoiler tags, I have yet to see a lot of these movies.
Moon fucking Moon had my mind spinning in circles about the morals of [sp]cloning[/sp], its so hard to reason it out.
It read on the main page "The hardest youve ever been..."
United 93. Damn that was sad.
don't spoil it :ssh:
Schindler's List
[sp] "I could've gotten more. That car, that's 10 more people... and this pin... maybe if I didn't have this pin, that's 2 people... maybe just one... one more person." [/sp]
This. I almost cried god damnit.
The whole last 45 minutes or so of Children of Men were extremely intense, emotionally and cinematography-wise
The Thin Red Line, [sp] when he gets cornered by the Japs at the end, and he stares hopelessly at them while a voiceover says something (can't remember but it was sad) [/sp]
