When I saw the title in the facepunch home, it said "The hardest you've ever been." :tinfoil:
I found The Lawnmower Man really scary, and the ending was shocking too, just look at this: Sure, it was cheesy but the last few seconds stunned me. :tinfoil:
I was hit pretty hard when my date slapped me.
Deliverance :|
The end of The Fly was pretty hard hitting. [sp]Even though Seth tried to force Veronica into the telepod to become the Ultimate Family after melting Stathis's hand and foot in his acid-vomit, when he crawls out of the telepod-melded with some of it's parts-you just feel bad when he 'tells' Veronica to blast him with the shotgun. If you wanna see it:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MDFan__QXg/[/sp]
Oh god. That was less depressing and more OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK :byodood: to me.
Saving Private Ryan graveyard scene when Pvt Ryan is old.
Pretty much every moment in Thin Red Line. Especially the bit where he gets shot at the end. The whole movie grabs you by the heart and turns you inside out then raises you up and dashes all your hopes at the end. A truly amazing film. For some reason i didn't find the medics death in Saving Private Ryan that sad, none of the deaths really hit me. There just wasn't enough character development and you didn't really feel for any of them. This is my opinion and im bound to get disagrees, but in all seriousnous, think about it. Or at least watch the thin red line. pretty much every person in that you feel for, you are scared for their lives and when one dies or is injured you try to reach out to them mentally. This is why thin red line in my opinion is a much better movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120863/
In the movie A Beautiful Mind where [SP]The guy finds out he is crazy and it's his wife that tells him.[/SP]
The Killing Fields, where Sydney is watching the news broadcast about Cambodia while listening to Nessun Dorma. Also the ending. EDIT: The Pianist was also really touching when the German asks him to play the piano for him, and he starts taking him food.
In the movie A Beautiful Mind where [SP]The guy finds out he is crazy and it's his wife that tells him.[/SP]
Oh Christ, I forgot about that movie. Some moments in that are incredible. Remember that part where he is walking around at the university followed by the CIA person and hes raving and shouting at him. That hit me.
Pretty much all of 'Requiem for A Dream'
The Killing Fields, where Sydney is watching the news broadcast about Cambodia while listening to Nessun Dorma. Also the ending.
One of my top 5 movies. It has everything in it. Broke my automerge!
One of my top 5 movies. It has everything in it. Broke my automerge!
I almost cried in most of the scenes.
The Mist.[/sp]
Frakking worst movie ever, the ending killed it for me.[/imo]
I almost cried in most of the scenes.
My god so did I. At the part where his passport photo has faded and he has to go on the convoy. He is apologizing, apologizing for something he has no control over. Christ i had to stop the movie and gather myself. I admit that i have openly cried in this movie, Its so sad at times. Will you agree with me about what i said about Saving Private Ryan? I have yet to find anyone who shares my point of view...
Angry- In the Company of Men When we find out Chad's motives. Chad was played by Aaron Eckhart, Two face in Dark Knight, and Company of Men was directed by Neil "not the bees!" Wicker Man Labute(fyi).

Was quite a lump in my throat. I have yet to watch Saving Private Ryan all the way through.
I Am Legend-[sp]When Will Smith has to kill his own dog, with his bare hands.[/sp] There are other movies that had somewhat of the same effect on me, but I Am Legend took the cake. Then again I do love dogs so that might have had something to do with it.
The plane crash scene in Knowing
We Were Soldiers. The Broken Arrow Accident really made me cringe especially when the guy was leaving on the helicopter ,and was shouting ,"Look at me!"
For me, it's hard to watch "The Shawshank Redemption" when Brooks gets out of prison.......especially when he's at the park, and that whole scene. I felt so sorry for him. "Jacob's Ladder" is pretty much an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end.
It reminds me just how easy it is to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I can't remember
District 9, when Wikus stares up at the camera with the yellow alien eye, after Koobus dies. The documentary voice-over kicks back in, and I cried manly tears.
"The Notebook" ending made me sob like a kid :sympathy:
Warehouse scene from Kick-Ass. So exciting.
Posted before i think, but its still one of the most tear-jerking scenes i have ever witnessed.
Iron Giant, you know the scene.
Yea...I'd have to agree.
Forrest Gump. [sp]When his wife dies of AIDS Fuck you AIDS[/sp] :argh:
Marley and Me: Shredded me and I even knew the ending. Easy Rider: ending made me want to kill the ignorant people in the world One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest: Jack Nicholson was and is awesome.
