It sounds tempting, but imagine spending the cash you got from killing another human. It must feel weird, eh?
I don't think you would really know the answer until you actually had a chance to do it.
You wouldn't know whether you wanted to or not until after you'd killed the person.
I think the question is based on your feeling at the time you could push the button, regretting it later doesn't mean anything.

Kill someone who has absolutely no chance of getting out of a death sentence, though personally I would never be able to do it.
Not gonna happen. I'm not going to kill someone just for money. Maybe you could convince me to kill someone who I feel legitimately needs to be removed from this world via force, but the money is just a bonus.
If that random person was the character that was created in my girlfriends head then sure.
If I could, I would kill the man asking and take all of his money, and then i would go to Russia and invest in something.
Depends very on if I was dead or not.
but would u kill a cat for 1M????
PETA already does that
If that random person was the character that was created in my girlfriends head then sure.
I-... What?

This was my very first thought. "Because what can brown do for you, reminds people of pooping." And the Answer is yes. ^^^
but would you still do it if there was a 50/50 chance it was you?
Depends on the person, but most likely not.
Nope.
1 million is 1 million. The world isn't getting any *less* populated, that's for sure.
ITT: Facepunch is made up of immoral bastards.
it is human nature. [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
but would u kill a cat for 1M????
there is not an animal on this green earth i would not kill for money. For 1 million I will kill my own cats.
Every time you Click, you will recieve One hundred thousand dollars. But a child in africa will die. Click Click Click Click... Click Click Click...
This reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode when a random guys comes up to some poor woman and says if you click it some random person will die but you will get 200 thousand dollars. She thinks over it for 24 hours and she finally presses it. The same day, the random person comes back and gives the poor woman 200 thousand dollars. In the end she screams like hell.
if allah wouldn't count it as a sin, sure
Maybe. Depends on the person have a family.
Yeah. Regardless of age sex color creed. What? It's not like i'd know who it was. Infact it could just be a test.
It sounds tempting, but imagine spending the cash you got from killing another human. It must feel weird, eh?
Nope. Money is money, no matter how you earn it you are taking it from people who could get the job and are worse off, your good hard work turns into dirty money thinking things like this hmm? Yeah, killing someone would be a pretty nice paycheck by these standards. [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
there is not an animal on this green earth i would not kill for money. Yes, I would kill them. I would brutally assassinate them for those 1,000,000.00 florins!
He's not supporting killing them, he's just pointing out the hypocrisy of people who say they would never kill somebody for money, and yet their lifestyle already causes people to die all around the world.
Could you explain how this works?
Killing people is a very sick thing to do that is just wrong no one should do it not even for all the money in the world.
Of course not. Killing a random human, even for such a large amount of money, goes against all my ethics. What if it turned out I killed some innocent 5 year old? I'd push it if I could certainly kill someone such as Kim Jong Il, but a random guy? No.
1.000.000,00USD is tempting
You would have a random person killed for $1.000.00,00? For just a single dollar? damn son
Could you explain how this works?
He's saying that people who claim that they value human life over material possessions (money) are indirectly contributing to the deaths of people in the poorer parts of the world because of their generally indulgent western lifestyle. By the logic of people who would never kill for any amount of money, spending money on a luxuries such as expensive food or fashionable clothes is wrong because that money could be donated and save someone's life elsewhere. Yet they do this everyday.
It really depends on who it is. People don't seem to care for other humans who died if those didn't really have any chance to live. I mean, what if a patient in a critical condition, suffering from a terminal disease, slowly dying in pain, got shot? I mean, honestly, who would care?
