FUCK YES this story is worthy of my 400th post [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Also why doesn't cartoon network do this?
because they already play the old shows.
Didn't Sam once try to give Carly fake boobs or something once?
I saw a video of them talking about their teacher's pointy boobs.

i think Ren and Stimpy and Adventure Time are the two best cartoons ever made. one great show for each channel. Thankfully they make new episodes with Adventure Time; a major pro. I want their old cartoons back
they have adventure time AND regular show. they are doing alright for themselves right now.
Angry Beavers? fuck yes!
It seems like every time I come back to try and watch Nickelodeon the only thing on is iCarly. I was a tad bit too young for the older cartoons to have a huge impact on me but sheesh... the tiny snippits I can remember are massively better than iCarly or Tuff Puppy. Why hasn't iCarly been purged quickly like the rest of the terrible shows like The Naked Brothers Band, All Grown Up, and The X's? ...and a Kung Foo Panda cartoon coming soon? Didn't they learn from Tak and the Power of Juju and Penguins of Madagascar?
Can we get more sources? Something this big is too good to be true.
Deep down I'm kind of hoping if they do this that they screw it up TERRIBLY just so they lose more ratings, to pay them back for the piece of shit they made nickelodeon into today thinking it was a good idea And if it does work, yay?
Hey Arnold won't be the same... http://nintyone.ytmnd.com/
They could just rerun all of them... I know I'd enjoy that.
Rugrats Doug As Told by Ginger Hey Arnold Catdog Angry Beavers Rocket Power The Wild Thornberrys Invader Zim
Kablaam!
The Fairly Oddparents Avatar: The Last Airbender And that's just the cartoons.

The Action Fucking League! Oh yeah, and I did a search on DirecTV and Rocko's Modern Life has three episodes playing this Wednesday.
snip
It'd be the best day ever for new seasons of all the old shows, but it'll never happen :( Or is this actually real??
Bring back The Adventures of Pete and Pete (only cool people know what show that was)
Nickelodeon is pretty much dead to me at this point. The new SpongeBobs are way different than the originals, to the extent where there's gore in it (see Squidward's toenail be ripped out, with an entire nerve system hanging off from the end, anyone?) TUFF Puppy... just eugh. iCarly I don't even have to mention. They're all horrible.
Invader Zim, bitch.
Didn't they learn from Tak and the Power of Juju and Penguins of Madagascar?
I thought Penguins of Madagascar was pretty good, it has some funny moments.
Bring back The Adventures of Pete and Pete (only cool people know what show that was)
Don't forget Clarissa Explains it All and Are You Afraid of the Dark? Gotta be a real old timer to remember those, Clarissa made me want to have a pet Caiman for a long time, Tegus are way better though.
Bring back The Adventures of Pete and Pete (only cool people know what show that was)
Such a great show
INVADER ZIIIIIIIIIIIIM /c
Bring back The Adventures of Pete and Pete (only cool people know what show that was)
We sell that show on DVD at work. I keep debating whether I should buy it or not.
i swear if this is true....im gonna cry with joy?
I find it hilarious how people believe this is real. If a tv station were to announce a dramatic shift in programming, they wouldn't do it through a high school newspaper.
http://www.hsj.org/Services/index.cfm?requestAction=goMenuContent&menu_id=9&menu_page_item_id=32&CmsPagesID=214 Whoever published that story is a genius.
If they're bringing back all these old cartoons they better bring back the original Are You Afraid of the Dark.
I wanted to believe this, I really did. But then I remembered, first Nickelodeon isn't losing ratings it's still got a hold of a rather large audience. Second, that the source is from a High School newspaper; which isn't very reliable.
My Life As A Teenage Robot anyone???
My Life As A Teenage Robot anyone???
Not a 90's cartoon from what I know.
Not a 90's cartoon from what I know.
Not only that, they still show it.
Penguins of Madagascar is actually worth watching if you ask me. iCarly ands post-movie Spongebob, however, make me cringe. And they seem to be the only things that are on half the time.
