If you're bad at growing, an outdoor plant will most likely have between .5 - 2 pounds of usable weed (after trimming and stuff). If you're good at it, and know what you're doing, 6 (or maybe even more?) pounds is possible. Depending on where you live, you can sell that anywhere from $800 - $2500 or so, per pound. Since weed growing has become more popular, prices have been driven down. There's just too much weed out there, so prices in my area are down to about $1500 per pound. $1500 x 6 = $9000 Then, if you live in california, and you have a prescription, you can grow 6 mature plants. $9000 x 6 = $54000 If you're growing on multiple prescriptions (people can give you their prescription to grow for them), that's 6 per script. Imagine you have enough space and supplies for, say, 4 people. $54000 x 4 = $216000 This all assumes the following: • You're good at growing • All your plants grow equally, and none have any problems, or die • No one finds out where you're growing, and steals branches off your plant during harvest season • You have a good selling connection • Your runners (people who drive across the country to get better profit for weed, since california sucks for it now) don't get caught • You're good at selling
If you ever get busted by the cops, I think we can all guess why. PS: gimme some.
grow tea, seriously make your own blends and sell them to people.
I've considered this. I will try it one day, but tea plants can take forever to actually produce tea leaves, as far as I know. So if I make a mistake and kill it, that could be a year wasted.
Basil and tomatoes
Can you grow shrooms ?
I've played enough space station 13 to know where this is going.

From what i've heard, hydroponically grown fruit tastes really bland.
From what i've heardm hydroponically grown fruit tastes really bland.
Should taste exactly the same as fruit grown more conventionally, generally better, as factors such as the amount of nutrient solution that each plant gets can be controlled more accurately in a decent setup.

Growing things hydroponically can be more rewarding, but also easier to screw up.
Is it possible to make hydroponically grown cacti? Or would they just shrivel?
Can you grow shrooms ?
No, shrooms require a sterile environment to avoid contamination
From what i've heard, hydroponically grown fruit tastes really bland.
No, quite the opposite. Infact, they'll probably taste better than what you normally eat. Fruits and vegetables in your stores are grown because of their thick skins and ability to be transported thousands of miles without being damaged, not for their flavor. A well grown hydroponic fruit or vegetable will probably taste the same if not better. Cacti have weird watering cycles and stuff.
If you're planning to grow tea, learn how to plant them first. Its not just planting and plucking random leaves. Leaves have to be choosen carefully.
Cool, I would love to see you document the whole process.
I haven't decided for sure about whether or not I a going to attempt tea, as it really can be a pain in the ass. I am also just needing to purchase the lights (which I will in the next few days) and nutrients. Then I'll take pictures and post updates as I build the system.

I want to do this myself, because you can grow plants any time of the year? Up here in Sweden we have short time to grow tropical fruits, if the plants will even grow.
