Pay someone you really don't like to do a sleazy dance in public. Then don't pay them.
Eat it
what i would do is put it on a special bank account and use it when i'd really need it for something (special?).
Buy an instrument that you really want or something equally cool.
Spend it all on pot and women.
Invest it into something solid, the only expense you should take is flowers, for your dead nan, as a way to thank her.
Buy a skateboard or two some over seas insurance and go away and shred it up!!
If I was in this situation, I would buy more guitar stuff. My nan loves to hear me play guitar.
Read the OP, I didn't say I wanted to spend it :( I'm 3/5 through university, and I'm in a tonne of debt, about £9 so far. My car, it's a '98 rover metro, it's perfect for what I need it for, but I think it needs a good service. I don't really need anything, other than clothes. Thanks for the hearts, been through enough deaths from an early age, lost so many family members too. It fucken sucks.
Spend it on a bitchin' as fuck headstone for your nan's grave
Use it to do things you've ALWAYS wanted to do. Do it for her.
Buy nerf guns, lots a nerf guns.

I agree with this man.
Hookers imo, good hookers, not the street walker kind.
Spend it on things to better your life. Then you'll know that you didn't spend her gift in vain.
I agree completly. spend it on something that would help you out or benifit you.
I was actually thinking of a nice tattoo, tribute to my mom and my nan. something on my heart, but i've looked before and not really came across something which i truely liked and I'm not creatively minded to make something myself :(
Put it towards Uni/college/learning to drive ect.
That's for suckers. Buy a base , then buy 10 fans . Place the fans on your new base and call it your fan-base.
Saving it is always a good idea. Might as well keep it if you can't decide yet.

[editline]10:01PM[/editline]
Actually fuck that, use it to buy shit for people in the Gift Giving Thread/Chat/Whatever its called now.
go to a good artist, tell him your likings and tell him what you feel about/for your lost relatives and if he's as good as he claims he'll make the best image you've ever rested your eyes on.
I need to get my car serviced and maybe some new clothes but I have other money for that.
It's still money, your other money would still bring your total down. It makes no difference.
Help out some people in the GGT, people will love you for it.
This
Split it in half, keep half in a safe place/invest it/bank it, keep it, it's your emergency fund. Use only when absolutely necessary. The other 500? Party party party, make it go as far as it can in giving you a good time.
There, your nans last gift to you has just made you incredibly happy for the next forseeable future, and she's keeping you safe as well incase you get into any big money trouble in the future. Money well spent. What more could she ask for?
flowers, someone to visit her grave...
Save it.
