All the money in Zimbabwe
Read the OP, I didn't say I wanted to spend it :( I'm 3/5 through university, and I'm in a tonne of debt, about £9 so far. My car, it's a '98 rover metro, it's perfect for what I need it for, but I think it needs a good service. I don't really need anything, other than clothes. Thanks for the hearts, been through enough deaths from an early age, lost so many family members too. It fucken sucks.
Yeah, because £9 is a shit-ton of debt.
Get used to losing people you know.
I'm 19, and I've already lost my whole family.
It gets better with time, though. It always does.
Adopt a ww2 grave.
There is no way to get money from 1000 dollar. You get like 2% back every year if you freeze it.. 20 dollars. Might as well spend it.

Pay off a part of your debt then.
Pay off a part of your debt then.
I wouldn't bother, I'm going to guess that's uni related debt, which you're not really expected to pay off until you get a job at the end of it. I'd enjoy the cash.

Do it.
I suggest you save it up or pay of debts you have, it would be the smart thing to do.
They're not debts really, all basically student loans. I'm not worrying about them until I've got a fully time job, it's only going to grow in the next year and a half :(
Buy a laser.
Could buy shares in a company to increase your money
Take 600 pounds, stick that in your savings.
Take another 300, buy stock.
Use the other 100 for flowers and such for your nan.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Basically what NoDachi said like 40 posts above.

How do you make on of those? I need to put Orange Box on there.
Help out some people in the GGT, people will love you for it.
All the people there are greedy/needy little shits.
Spend it on something you've always wanted. Or save it for something big, get some friends together and go on holidays.
DO NOT BUY SOMETHING STUPID!!
Word to the wise: Put the money in a bank.
If 1000 of that type of currency is alot, then the interest should be enough for a couple meals a day.
Edited: 9000? That's even better! Just save it, let interest gather and spend some of the interest.

Yeah, sorry if I came off as an ass, I'm sorry for your loss man.
It can hurt for years after you lose someone, especially if it's your parents.
I hope everything pulls through for you man, I really do.
And advice on your money, I don't know the minimum amount that you can have in a CD, but that might be a good idea for you, look into it.
I had $40k in a CD, and earned a $5k gain on it in 2 years.

Best of luck!
Save it and use it for something that she would have wanted like a deposit for your first home or car.
Blow it on things that you feel you really need that you will cherish
saving it is a good idea but you will be doing that anyway. Spend it on things you enjoy and will enjoy for a long time. I did it for music for example, vinyl records. Do whatever you feel your nan wouldve been happy you spending it on. Dont spend it on education or training of some sort, it is a dull way of spending inheritance...
Get a bank account, put money into bank, become a pizza delivery boy, take pizza to a cryogenic's lab, accidently become frozen and stuck in one, wake up 1000 years into the future, become a trillionaire.

Hahaha. Banking is the worst idea ever. With £1000 you can get a good holding in the stock exchange. Buy some stocks.
Resarch some stocks and invest it.
Save it.
Pick up some bitches or get a girl and take her to some real fancy places.
I'd either save it, or buy a new bass. Or both.
You're so lucky. When my grandma died, all I got was a pair of binoculars because her will basically said "Keep what you take".
