Do You Believe In Homosexuality as an Initial 'Disorder' or as a Result of Being Raised?
I really don't see it as a disorder in the slightest, since this sort of thing has happened both in nature and human society for ages.

So has schizophrenia. If you define a disorder as something that deviates from the biological norm, then homosexuality is a disorder. I personally feel that homosexuality is a disorder, but that doesn't mean it is bad in any way. For reference, I consider myself bisexual/homoromantic.
It's a disorder in the sense that it's a misfire in the brain; it's not a bad thing but it's psychologically abnormal. Whether or not it's accepted in a child's household or not will typically determine if it's shown later in life.
It honestly isn't proven it is Genetic or Behavioral, but i believe it to be Both.
some people Actually are born it, some are doing it for other reasons
i could understand if someone went Gay/Lesbiean because their mother/Father was abusive thus thinking that the Opposite sex is that evil.
I sorta think the same way I think it is genetic for tendencies, there are those that have homosexual thoughts all the time and then there are those that never have a gay thought in their life. Now from that there are those that act upon these thoughts.
So yes I think it is predetermined, but it is also choice.
I see it as more of both. It pertains to heredity just as much as athleticism does, most everyone has it, but it's influence on your conscious mind is affected mainly according to upbringing. Someone can be born with no major genetic defects, but not give a shit about exercise. On the other hand, someone could be born into a very fitness-oriented family and be aware of it as an "issue".
it's all dependent on social factors.
It is by far a biological thing Doriol

don't really feel like arguing semantics
I think it all depends on your childhood and the experiences you go through that determine how you perceive the world and the things belonging to it, including who you grow up to be.

or maybe you see a big juicy fat one when you are drunk and jump at it :q:
God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
You usually develop fetishes by sexual triggers in your child hood for example "if an 11-year-old boy sees a woman undressing for the very first time in his life, and she is taking off a red silk tank top, then it’s possible that for the rest of his life, he will be most aroused when he sees a red silk tank top." I think that homosexuality may work sort of like a fetish as in something in their child hood triggers them to be attracted to the opposite sex but i'm not really sure just an idea.

Man created God. God can't create himself out of a fucking cardboard box.

Not even close.
I think it's how you grow up, not how you're raised by your parents.
