I am glad that Homestuck can inspire people with no talent as well, its very democratic that way

[sp]why is there not a homestuck-emperor's new groove crossover[/sp]
A better question is why wasn't there sooner.
The wrong lever comment gave me a chuckle.
Up the polycount and this'd be a great artstyle for a Hamsteak game.

1/100 the polycount and so much better than mine.
What is it about the low polycount that can make things look very appealing in the right hands?
It prevents things looking uncanny, also there's less things that can go wrong when you have less verticies.

I suppose though. That particular style looks like it could be smoothed out pretty easily without losing the look.
Someone needs to silhouette it and do the "which way is she turning" thing.
Prequel updated.
http://readmspa.org/stats/#size
"Homestuck is about 220% the size of the Lord of the Rings, 137% the size of the King James Bible, or 98% the size of the Harry Potter Series "
and this is a conservative estimate
Most of the Harry Potter Fandom probably graduated to Homestuck anyway.
i think it's just the artstyle
There's a difference between style and proportions not making sense.

This is what most dA members fail to realize.
Our very own Ret is a good example of how to competently exaggerate proprtions.
it takes artistic competence to competently exaggerate in a style

using they end up exaggerating other aspects to make sure the proportions check out correctly - golden ratio and all that.
although... Homestuck in the style of Harry Clarke, anyone?

If that was an actual answer provided by a reading teacher, he deserves a medal.
I keep reading the "year 4 hiatus" as "4 year hiatus."
