Firefly - now i fully understand why people are pissed because it is canceled

As homage to the series, this thread should be stickied. NOW. Okay, maybe not.
Would anybody else agree that making a model of Serenity would give the creator godly status? Seriously, someone should make it.
Yea that would be cool. Some models and such. Highly detailed.

Someone made one a year or two a go of one of the fansites I used to go to. I wish I still had contact with him.
I once did Vera, Mal's gun, and Jayne's revolver though. Looking back I messed up on Mal's gun by mistaking parts of the reference, I may go back and fix that though. Never released them as I was to lazy to properly Uvmap them.
I also reskinned a starship troopers model that Jimesu_Evil was working on into a purplebelly. I never released this because I did it on the combine replacement and haven't yet got around to doing it to the citizen models of them as the citizen models had faces and not gasmasks and stuff on.
I really miss the show, good thing I have the movie and series on DVD.
Yeah, It was really good, and it could have gone longer, I know it...
Hopefully they will start showing some more re-runs...
Out of Gas has to be my Favorite episode too. :D
Was it in the show's gag reel were they all had the mustaches on?
And they panned around a coffin slowly, showing the whole crew, in which shot Nathan ran around so he was standing behind everyone each time it panned over.

I thought I'd post the episodes up here, free and totally legal.

I would still suggest buying the DVDs if you like it to support the cause :v:
Oh, He robbed from the rich
and he gave to the poor.
Stood up to the man
and he gave him what for.
Our love for him now
ain't hard to explain.
The hero of Canton
the man they call Jayne.
:v:
I actually thought it worked quite well and fitted into the feeling of isolation River felt.
I love the whole speech.
At that point the crew had no idea what River was fully capable of and it shows her intellegence (which Simon always alluded to) at being able not only to fool the crew but by proxy a complete stranger on top of outwitting Jubal.
Speech was good. Speech delivery method not so good.
I saw the film first as well. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to see a sequel. Then I saw a guy watching Firfly during a LAN party while he wasn't in any particular competition. He lent the whole season to me. The show KICKS ASS and I want to see more. It's a shame. But I bet they're more likely to make another film than another season of episodes.

I watched that part with the coffin god damn that was funny.
I also laughed my ass off when Wash was under the panel and when he got back up they both had mustaches on.
Random shit like that is just great. I wish there would have been more stuff like that.

I don't know, personally Objects in Space was one of my favorite episodes.
I watched the first episode of Firefly last night, because my sister owns the series. It was so fucking hot when that chick ate that strawberry.

I have now ruined Firefly for you guys.
Also, if you watch the series you might notice that there's a bit more to Jayne than what you think, namely the ending of Ariel, Jaynestown and Trash
He's also the speaker of some classic lines, remember, Jayne isn't a girl and I'll be in my bunk
All I can say is, ITT: Browncoats.
Including me.

"You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go beat you with 'til you realise I'm the one in command!"
Jayne was originally meant to be the guy everyone hates, but the audience liked him too much during the pilot that Joss decided to make him a bit more likeable. I did like his turn in Ariel though... Especially the "Don't tell nobody what I did." part. It really showed he actually cared about what people thought of him.

Yeah i noticed that too, before in the beginning he looked like a backstabbing cunt that had an attitude. But after awhile he evolved and became more liked and a team player.

Agreed, Jayne does give off a very shallow, simple character but when you've watched everything you realize he really isn't. I don't think he became more likable or a team player, but he's definitely got more depth than just the muscular guy with the biggest guns.
(The "I'll be in my bunk." line was hilarious!)

That one scene in "Objects in Space" where Jayne is in his bunk, pulls the curtain off his gun rack and falls back to sleep as Mal is fighting Jubal was awesome.

He slept through everything. :geno:

I loved how they kept pushing it, doesn't he say it like 3 times during one episode? It's been a few months since I've watched through the series.

I have a SVG of a browncoats flag if anyone wants it.I'm currently using it as a background on one of my computers.
Sure send/upload that SVG of a browncoat flag.
Greatly appreciated.
Damn facepunch, I bought the DVD's of Firefly and Serenity and now I am completely saddened because there won't be another show and this was my favorite TV series ever (I hardly ever enjoy them, also every episode of Firefly seemed like a movie, especially the Pilot episode)
I liked Voyager more
I liked Voyager more
Voyager was okay.
So I read they're turning this into....
an mmo?
has anyone got any good sources for this info?

To be honest Roo-kie, the last I saw or heard anything about the mmo was on the little bar at the bottom of Attack of the Show. I'll keep an eye out for more information though.
Also, in case you haven't seen it yet. We have a Firefly/Serenity user group!

Damn. Was gonna post that. :V
But yeah, Firefly is the greatest show ever. Fox is probably run by coke-addicted retarded monkeys.
Oooh my god that extended gag reel. I can't believe they didn't put the whole thing on the DVDs. Some of this shit is fucking unbelievable. "I'm ambidextrous... which, ah, really came in handy around 12, 13..."

All good shows end up being canceled or pulled off the air for retarded reasons, I wanted to watch Jericho until the ending which was canceled by Fox too. A basic summary of Jericho was that the entire United states was attacked by nukes, but the plot twist comes after you watch many episodes, which ends up that a company in their own Country Nuked their own country to take over the country. But one nuke was there and a plot to stop that what the company was trying to do was by a city called "Jericho" that is where it stopped at.
Fox is a bunch of fucking cunts.
Heck, I'd get more pissed off the canceling of Jericho.
(oh god, beaten)
All I could find on the Firefly mmo was from Kotaku.

Well, and from Wired as well.
