I wouldn't bullshit 60 hours, but I'm gonna round up to the nearest 5 minutes just so it's much easier to tally-up at the end. What'll happen if one or two of your times don't have an odometre reading for them? I forgot to mark them down this time around, but I'll make sure to next time.
Rounding is fine. As for the odometer - just make something up between the last and next reading.
Rounding is fine. As for the odometer - just make something up between the last and next reading.
Fair enough. I'll take a guess at what my average speed was for the drive, (probably around about 60km/h, but to be safe I'll have to actually go back in my mind and work out where I was, for how long, and how fast I was going though) and work out from there how far I should have travelled.
In the UK, if you see a Micra you know you're in for a shit driver. Also, old people usually are really bad at driving. Not always, but if you get cut off/nearly have an accident because of someone, chances are they're old.
I remember driving in one of those learner cars in the U.S. I almost hit some jackass when I was merging because he sped up so he wouldn't be behind a drivers ed car and the instructor had to grab the wheel to avoid him. The instructor didn't blame me but I dreaded going on a freeway a year after that. Nice thing about Minnesota is the drivers are usually nice most of the time. I've also been to the U.K and I think most of the people there drive like lunatics compared to here.
Nobody in the UK seems to indicate anymore, I almost got run over by someone who turned into a road I was crossing because I saw they weren't indicating. Pisses me off. Also I was behind a guy on a roundabout, and he indicated after he turned off, made me laugh.
They don't look for red lights either. Friend of mine had a merc driver honk at him as the car was trying to run a red light and seemed amazed that anyone would try and cross the pelican crossing. I almost sat on his bonnet for that... There are a lot of idiots on the roads. As a cyclist, i have been taken out too many times to count. And then they get annoyed when you swear at them. Oh...and the comment about Micras. I'm about to buy one because it's cheap for car insurance. Well...when i say cheap, 1200 compared to 1500-2000 for anything else. From my cycling days, the ones to watch out for is anyone in a white van or expensive car. Usually the ones in the ancient honda's and small cars are alright.

If they look like they've been in an accident, chances are it's because they were.
Of course it is their fault. Not ours.
What the fuck? .
Not learning as in the practical sense, I mean experience like.
In Colorado it's pretty bad Nobody knows the concept of speed limits I live next to a pretty major road, a highway and a mall and 9/10 times people are going anywhere between 5-10 MPH under the fucking limit and have a tendency to do any or all of the following: Brake when unnecessary Swerve dangerously Take forever to accelerate Inconsistently drive Never go the speed limit Seemingly being unable to decide Talking on phones/eating/texting while driving Some of that shit may seem minor to some of you but unless you've driven you don't know how fucking annoying even just one can be I'm assuming L plates are similar to learner's permits in the United States? Yes, driving when you're on a learner is very threatening/scary/whatever word I'm looking for because I'm up too late, but at least once you get your P plate/license/whatever you can finally show those assholes who's boss
A driver from Sydney here, on 100+ hours on my Ls now. I remember the first thing I thought when I took my first drive was how EVERYONE was always at least above the speed limit by 10kms, and the slow ass retirees and stuff were actually not slow, but were driving only just under the limit. As for other drivers being dicks, you get used to that after a while.
Im only 15 so I can drive , but Victorian Drivers in Australia fucking suck.
try driving about in spain or italy, they all have fucking tunnel vision
While learning here in Scotland, I would get angry with those who were being dicks because I was travelling at a safe speed. Now that I've been qualified for 7 months I find myself becoming everything I hated... :smithicide:

try driving in Florida you get to deal with a bunch of idiots on cell phones/old people
try driving in Florida you get to deal with a bunch of idiots on cell phones/old people
You ever get those drivers that cut you off without signaling and maybe slow down when then do? I got the finger when I honked at one of them.
I'm in Australia too but coming from South Africa where some people use spanners instead of steering wheels and the speed that people drive is normally 140km people can't afford to be assholes so much. Australian drivers are a nightmare, and I've realised this before I could even get an L plate.
Agreed here in Australia we don’t have as many cars as America or England but we sure have a lot of speed heads and idiots on the road.
Pro-tip. Don't fucking drive in the ACT. Do you think Vic drivers are bad? Wait until you see the ACT drivers. I lived in Bendigo for the most of my life, my parents had no problems with Vic drivers, ACT drivers think they are the fucking best, they should be given the right of way.
Fuck Vicroads. They're such cuntbags. [editline]11:30PM[/editline]
Im only 15 so I can drive , but Victorian Drivers in Australia fucking suck.
You can't drive at 15 douche. [editline]11:31PM[/editline] On public roads at least in Victoria.
I wanted to drive manual from the very beginning
What the fuck why?
You'll find that truck drivers tend to be the biggest idiots on the road.
dont forget fucking bus and taxi drivers
Oh god, and less than a half year to I'm going to learn how to drive. (Or so i think at least, can't pay for the license myself, but my mothers boyfriend is filthy rich, and sometimes a little kind towards me. I could have luck... v:v:v)
dont forget fucking bus and taxi drivers
Oh yes, once in New Zealand i almost got killed driving in a taxi. I don't remember exactly how it happened, but a car was really close to hitting the rear of the taxi while i was sitting there. Really close.
As a P plater in Victoria too, I can tell you that we have the worst drivers on the fucking planet, we are lucky that we need to get 120 hours before we can get our p's because it makes you such a good driver. Im better than my mum at driving, even took a defensive driving course.
A license itself is rather cheap... It's the registration, upkeep and fuel that hits you.
Hmm i guess it depends. Where do you live? Here in Denmark i think it's about 10,000kr which is about 1700 American dollars, about 1100 Pounds and 2000,01 Australian dollars. Also there's a 200% tax on new cars here in Denmark. No way I'm going to buy a car as it is now, I'm only going to learn how to drive and borrow a car if needed.
What the fuck why?
Why not? That's the way things work back in the homeland (Scotland). That's the way things work in the rest of the UK for the most part (at least from everyone I've ever known). Why should I be a little bitch, some panzy, and learn in an automatic for a while THEN switch to a manual later on?
