how are those videos illegal? watching those makes me relive the best days of summer haha.
yeah dude, the maverick is sick! it's wild and crazy, but it's really smooth and fun.
Top Thrill Dragster is the best ride... evar.

I agree. You should see this shirt I got. It's like a comic book cover, and it's featuring the dragster

Well, the second one I think is an official recording, but for the first one, you're technically not supposed to bring handheld belongings on the ride with you since it's a safety hazard. Not like anyone really cares. :v:
And yeah, I agree, I started giggeling like a little girl when I watched those videos because of the giddy memories I got when I sat in the train before the countdown on dragster, and before the drop on MF.

Haha yeah my cousin and I recorded our Power Tower rides and a ride on the magnum. I like how at the very end when those three hills come, I'm screaming "FUCK!!!" because they hurt your thighs lol.
I only live a couple hours away and I've still never been there. :sigh:

That's crazy! I live 2 hours away. Next year I'm buying a platinum pass so I can go a lot. It's the best, and it never gets old.
Alton Towers > your crappy American parks
Alton Towers > your crappy American parks
What's so great about there?
Alton Towers > your crappy American parks
Do the British have to claim to be better everything? Shutup you've probably never been to American parks.
And I've never been to Cedar Point, just Six Flags, Dorney Park and Konobels. The NJ shore has some ok rides too.
Knotts Berry Farm is the best.
What's so great about there?
It's more hardcore than you pussy Americans could handle. Example: I bet when the health inspectors visit Cedar Point it passes right? Not at Alton Towers. That's right, we Brits are so fucking intense that 15 out of the 19 fast food joints at Alton Towers failed inspection. Fuck you and your anti-bacterial spray, man up.

That's cool. But lets forget about the food, you come to a theme park for the rides and America has the tallest and fastest coasters.

Alton Towers has
* Nemesis, Europe's first inverted roller coaster.
* Oblivion, the world's first vertical drop roller coaster.
* Air, the world's first B&M flying roller coaster.
* Rita - Queen of Speed, a launched roller coaster which accelerates to 100 km/h (60 mph) in approximately 2.2 seconds.
Thanks wikipedia

Or you could ride the dragster that starts off at 120 MPH, and takes you/drops you off 400 feet all in one ride.
:troll:
I have been there once, since my relatives live in Ohio. Cedar point is awesome though. I really like the collosus(lol spelling), magnum, iron dragon, and the corkscrew. I was kinda freaked out by trying the dragster though. I did the Raptor though, that one fucked me up, I didn't feel sick but I was pale white lol.

You must have a really low tolerance for rides like that. I have been on everything there and I love them the faster and higher they go. What the hell is the collosus? I really wanna go on Kingda Ka at Six Flags.
When I went last year the Maverick was brand new, and I waited till 10 and went on 4 times in a row with only a 10 minute wait. :D

Seriously? That's weird. The line for that ride's always like an hour.
Alton Towers is usually where all the world firsts in coaster design get built.
First vertical drop coaster, first inverted coaster, SW6 which is being built now is also a world first.
What kind of rides do they have there?
A lot of roller coasters and thrill rides. It's really fun, just not quite as big as a Six Flags or anything else.
I've never been to a Six Flags, but I always drive past them when I'm in different states and they seem amazing. Cedar Point will always be my favorite haha
Alton Towers > your crappy American parks
You kidding me? Alton Towers has a crappy dive machine and flyer. Also I've never been to Cedar Point, but I am going to Kings Island sometime to ride Diamondback.
Probably the closest thing I've been to Cedar Point is Paramount Great America in california

They didn't have the first inverted coaster.
