Memento.
We had a film class where we were taught about different techniques in movie direction. This time we were going to be given an example of non-linear movie storytelling, and we were either going to watch Pulp Fiction or Memento. I pleaded for Pulp Fiction since it's one of my favorite movies, so the teacher choose Memento since even though he knew Pulp Fiction was a great movie, he didn't think I should miss out on this.
I'm pretty glad he choose Memento. It was an awfully confusing movie, but at the same time it all made sense, and it one hell of a unique experience. Pulp Fiction is an awesome movie, but so was Memento, so in retrospect I feel quite thankful he did what he did :v:

Dude... Citizen Kane is such a steaming pile of shit. Easily the most overrated film I've seen.
I'd have to say this was the best thing I watched in school.

The word 'Overrated' is a really dumb word.
Its pretty much just saying "Other people like this, but I don't and my opinion is right, therefore its worse than everyone thinks!"
Today we watched the Witch scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it's because our history teacher thought it would be relevant to how we're learning about the Salem witch trials.
Half of the people didn't think it was funny because it was "old and boring."
My class was going to see Saving Private Ryan and Schlinders List but for some reason we didn't.

and five days later we watched Jackass.
Forrest Gump.
Life is Beautiful, probably. Great movie, and the only one that my class has taken seriously.
Psycho, Media Studies.
We were going to watch Schindler's List one time but as soon as the teacher left for a meeting or something all the idiots in my class changed the movie to some shitty American Pie sequel.
Either Ghost or Taxi 2.
My school sucks.

In our music Class
We never watch anything good in school, its either a boring as hell film or a boring film we never finish. The only cool thing was the first few minutes of Saving Private Ryan in Social Studies without sound
We also watched the first few minutes to The Godfather in my media class since we were working on something about story boards and what not

Opinions can't be right, it's just something that applies to me alone. Same goes for the film being overrated. I'm not telling you to think its overrated, I'm merely stating that I've heard Citizen Kane is supposed to be the best film of all time however I thought it was shit.
