I don't get it, if it's available to easily create free electricity for all why hasn't someone done it? No country, no man in secret, no no one?
Agents of several US government bodies confiscated most of Tesla's work and Data shortly after his death.
Thus the conspiracies begin as to what became of them.
^Oh yes and there is no money in it.
Why do it for free, when they've got to have...
Moneyyyyyyy...
Still if the human race knows how to complete something better they would have, I mean most of the time the "something better" is something to get money, yes.
But SOMEONE out of the 7 billion people in this world, SOMEONE would have built it.
Goddamn ninja's, thanks for explaining.
Just because he was a massive genius doesn't mean he necessarily was great.
Tesla was great because he gave many inventions to us that are incredibly useful, and make our lives easier.
I don't need a fucking a history lesson on Nikola Tesla, the book on Fallout 3 already gave me the friggen' the energy weapon point.
If I could bring back any dead scientist, it would have to be Tesla.

I recently had to write about Thomas Edison's contributions to the film industry, but considering everything he did to Tesla I just felt like calling him a complete dick and moving on.
Urban myths and/or disproven.
[editline]08:50PM[/editline]
The Oscillator was tested on Mythbusters. It worked to an extent, but nothing like what Tesla described.
[editline]08:51PM[/editline]
hurr mythbusters != science
If you don't believe them, build one yourself and test it.
Tesla never built a proper oscillator, he said with advanced enough technology it could work. Mythbusters proved it does, just not with technoloy from the time. Also Tesla exaggerated a lot. Still he's a badass and Edison is a dick.
Nikola is an awesome guy, imagine what could've done if he was born just 100 years later.

Definetly
I happen to be doing my Senior paper on Nikola Tesla. The man was a fucking genius and does not get the credit he deserves.
Would it be possible for you to upload it somewhere and send it to me when you're finished with it?
AC all the way. This guy was crazy experimented in time travel and drew plans for a light saber!
David Bowie played him in The Prestige. Did a pretty good job, too

Nice haircut.
I wish my last name was Tesla :saddowns:
I wrote an eight-page research paper for my history class about how he isn't appreciated enough.
Telsa is fucking awesome.

God, I hate that Sanctuary made him a gay vampire.
Holy shit Edison caught a stray elephant and electrocuted it!?
Also,

I didn't forget Nikola Tesla. I always talk about him and all my friends just sigh and say "Not again..."
If only his wirless electricity tower was funded and not thrown down the toilet....
I always liked Tesla better than Edison, because Edison was a huge asshole and Tesla was always the underdog
Tesla himself was also a asshole by account of his assistants. They almost always complained of how tesla did things.
Oui?
lulz, the Prestige
If he lived to make that death ray...
"[The nozzle would] send concentrated beams of particles through the free air, of such tremendous energy that they will bring down a fleet of 10,000 enemy airplanes at a distance of 200 miles from a defending nation's border and will cause armies to drop dead in their tracks."
Oh yes
Coil guns would've been the shit.
Facepunchers everywhere agree, Tesla was a BAMF.
