Marijuana doesn't cure cancer, it helps with cancer. They give THC pills, but they're horribly ineffective.
Marijuana doesn't cure cancer, it helps with cancer. They give THC pills, but they're horribly ineffective.
Looks like you need to watch: (A different video)
Except Rick Simpson never really eliminated cancer, he treated the effects of cancer and yes, stopped the spread of types of cancer like breast cancer - but that doesn't mean it's effectively cured. No, John stalk cured Polio, Cannabis just helps with the effects. And you said Marijuana, not hemp or Cannabis oil. Two very different things. You need to research your claims more, boyo. And it's a matter of legal status, there are things called marinol, it's used to help with cancer and other diseases cannabis helps. But the potency of it isn't enough. They're not legally allowed to increase the level of THC in the medication.
Post of the year, should put in hightlights
Sir, that post made my cry with joy. also, i ninja'd you a bit with the pollution stuff.
My friend is a major conspiracy nut. He believes in shit like 9/11 being an inside job set up by our own government, vaccines causing autism etc etc. He buys books like "Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About"... A couple of the major phrases he uses when talking about this stuff is "follow the money" or "wake up sheeple (oh god...)". Yep, just felt like sharing that with y'all.

They're, lack for a better term, addicts. Not Physically addicted, but mentally dependent. But anyway, I smoke weed every so often, and I want it decriminalised, but i'm not a fucking lunatic about it. It isn't even that good. Hitler's death - 30 April 1945 9/11 - September 11th Now lets say Hitler never died, and it was hoax. Hitler would have been 112 years old. :smug: eat it, whore (j/k <3)
Then you need to take some history classes because that's totally ridiculous People were arrested and imprisoned for being communists, civil rights leaders were tracked (and possibly killed) by Federal agencies, entire classes of people were made to live in fear, with no representation in the government and no hope of a fair trial, the list of abuses goes on and on. If you really think that's even comparable to today, let alone not as bad, you have a really poor grasp of the state of government today.
This is what I've been saying. People keep talking about how we've descended into fascism, and seem to have forgotten about segregation, internment camps, industrialization run amok, slavery, genocide of natives, Alien and Sedition acts, and so on. If we're fascists, it because we started out that way.

Nice work. Personally, I like FEMA. They do a lot of good work. I've also got video of those "FEMA trains"... get this... in motion! Crazy, right? They go by every so often transporting their vehicles to distribution centers around Knoxville.

I don't like that the word "conspiracy" has become synonymous with "crazy idea that's got no grounding in reality" because that's true. Not saying the guy isn't a nut job, he clearly is, but... the term "conspiracy" gets thrown around a lot today, and it's bullshit because the meaning of the word is being destroyed and the credit of any legitimate conspiracy suddenly goes out of the window because of the stigma associated with the word.

I didn't do shit, he just acted like a jackass and my fellow compatriots followed suit when I called him out. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] He gives me more credit then I deserve. you lie you stole the esteemed position of senior forum roleplayer, and what man can be forgiven for such a heinous crime?
Because Jenkem is correct, I am a fraud.
Did you even watch the Jack Herer video?
Hemp, even in areas of legality, are not as effienent as he makes it out to be.
European experts on hemp, like Dr. Hayo M.G. van der Werf author of the doctoral thesis Crop physiology of fibre hemp (1994) and Dr. Ivan Bûcsa, criticized Herer' for making unrealistic claims regarding the potential of hemp, for example: - Herer claimed that hemp produces higher yields than other crops. Van der Werf argue that is simply wrong. Under most favorable growing conditions, other crops such as maize, sugar beet or potato produced similar dry matter yields. Fiber hemp is in no way exceptional.[9] Se also Hemp#Yield in modern agriculture - Herer claimed that hemp hurds, which make up 60 to 80 % of the stem dry weight, contain 77 % cellulose. Van der Werf argue that is wrong. Cellulose content of hemp hurds has been found to vary between 32 and 38 % (Bedetti and Ciaralli 1976, van der Werf 1994). Possibly, Herer confused the hurds, which form the woody core of the hemp stem, with the bark, which forms the outer layer of the hemp stem. The bark contains the long bast fibers which are used in textile manufacturing. [9] - Hemp claimed that hemp could be grown on 6 million hectares in the European Union. Dr. Ivan Bûcsa argue that it was a great exaggeration to calculate that since it is not worth transporting unprocessed hemp more than 40-50 km even in bales.[10]
He also died of a stroke and heart attack, and it was revealed he was in pretty shitty health. You know, for someone who claims Weed is a cure all, he sure lived like a fraudulent dick. Dr. Hayo M.G. van der Werf, head of the International Hemp Association, is a Hemp Fibre specialist, he's the guy you want to grow and harvest this stuff at the optimal level. He's a scientist, Jack Herer has accomplished four things in life: Wrote two books, made one documentary, and smoked a lot of weed. Not exactly fucking impressive, is it when pitted against someone with academic credibility. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] You want to keep going? Or is that enough?
