Not quite sure what the heck happened here, I had already posted my reply from the advanced section and it popped up with this.
I turned on the dev console on mobile safari.
on the forum index (main page) there is one error, and unmatched div on line 1485 (HTML)
in GD (forum display 6) there's also an unmatched div error on line 3432.
When these errors pop up in mobile safari it ignores the tags. I think this is what's causing the side by side view of the people viewing or whatever and the actual forum.
