Smartness always looked a mess IMHO. If it returns I hope we don't have Toybox style implementation where anything correct is underlined in green. We only need to see mistakes really.
But it probably wont return, so theres no point speculating.

We've gone too long without it to really like if it returned. Look how we all reacted when instaban returned for a short period.
Compwhizii should bring it back anyway on his last few days of fixing up the forums
seeing as many moderators dislike him and like nullsquared will probably be banned pretty soon afterwards

Yeah but smartness is useful, instaban only banned the most idiotic of trolls who then came back and found ways around it to say harmful things
smartness (after a bit of fixing and adding words) worked well for what it was supposed to do, maybe if it ignored full grammar and just did spelling it would work well

Pretty much every time I make an automerge post, it does it. If I make the post, wait a few seconds and close the page before it reloads, it'll only post once. But if I let it do the post and auto-reload the page, it'll be double.

Sounds like you don't have Javascript enabled. Whitelist Google and Facepunch in NoScript if you have it.
