What extensions do you have? What browser? What OS?
OS: Windows 7 Browser: Firefox 3.6.12 Addons (only ones enabled are listed): -AdBlock Plus -AVG Safe Search -Download Status Bar -NoScript (2.0.3.5, will update to 2.0.4 shortly) -Personas 1.6.1 -Screengrab 0.96.3 -Java Console (6.0.21, all other versions disabled) EDIT: just installed java debugger addon
Disable NoScript and tell me what happens. [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] It's not the permanent fix but it's a step in identifying the problem.
Disabled, restarted, however I'm finding that firefox still redirects me back to the main page even without NoScript on all the functions that I found weren't working for me. Is urchin.js a part of what does all those functions?
No, why? [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] Can you see if anything is showing up in your FireFox javascript error console?
No, why? [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] Can you see if anything is showing up in your FireFox javascript error console?
Oh yeah, plenty is showing up in the error console, lemme show you.
What happens when you try and open this? http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js
Compwhizii when are you going to fix the avatar resizer?
What happens when you try and open this? http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js
Nothing happens, the window just loads with a bunch of code. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/javaerrors2.png[/img_thumb]
Yeah that's supposed to happen.
"this is down to compwhizii's bad coding no doubt"
I'm trying to embed this vimeo video http://vimeo.com/14554974/ it won't work [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/fpthread.png[/img_thumb] windows 7 ultimate google chrome
It seems the tag can't figure out there the URL is supposed to end. It only sees: http://vimeo.com/1
How about Vocaroo embedding for media tags?
Fixed, will go live later. [editline]31st October 2010[/editline]
How about Vocaroo embedding for media tags?
Sure, coming up.
Getting a LOT of 503 Service Unavailable errors and slow loading at the moment.
Did anyone else just have facepunch crash for about an hour?
Be good if we could use swfs with the tags again, back like when they were first added.
Did anyone else just have facepunch crash for about an hour?
Yeah, I had trouble connecting for a bit. I'm also having this problem when I try to post a reply. This doesn't happen all the time but every so often the tab stops responding. I either have to close it or wait, but every time I have waited for this to correct itself it makes me triple and quadruple post. OS is Ubuntu 10.10 and browser is Chrome btw.
I demand livestream embedding. Or can you already? :ohdear:
Can you please fix these Gateway Timeout errors. We're getting Tripple-Posts now in some threads. Chrome 7 / Win 7

May have already been reported, but like every 1/50 times I go somewhere on facepunch I'm getting this:
Fatal error: Unable to connect to memcache server in [path]/includes/class_datastore.php on line 221
Our SVN repo went down a few hours ago so that might of broke Facepunch. I'll add some reliability soon.

Hey compwhizii, could we get z0r.de and POWN.IT added to the media tag?
Fix that IRC link
It is fixed.
Nope
