Alternatively, you bulk to the point where you look at the mirror and go "Shit, ain't got the absicles but im swole as fuk~~" then you cut for the absicles if you so desire.
my coach tells me i should only do about a cut per year max. and i should bulk the rest, just until the point my abs cannot be seen anymore, not even slightly. but i dunno, i dun bulk dat hard yet
my coach tells me i should only do about a cut per year max. and i should bulk the rest, just until the point my abs cannot be seen anymore, not even slightly. but i dunno, i dun bulk dat hard yet
You'd be hard pressed to do more than a single cut in a year if you're doing it right. Hell, the cut I was on where I lost 25lbs took 4 months.
gonna make it as simple as possible for you guys and you go on and make your choices; one, there's no good or bad way to cut or bulk (unless down to the point where you are lacking macronutrients or are extremely overweight due to the cut). That also means you don't have to cut 3 times a year, 1 time a year for either 4 months, 1 month or a week. it doesn't matter, not really. two, practicality. you on the one hand don't want to bulk so hard it's gonna take you 4 months even with the smartest most gifted dieter and on the other hand, you don't want to make it so slow you are actually hampering your gains. with all of that in mind, what would you choose? in the end i think everybody should open up their heads to new ideas, all those dogmas don't belong at all in bodybuilding. personally? I think most people here are just scared shitless of being fat again or skinny thus making these extreme ideas when they are themselves, not extreme yet. you are not kai greene so there's no point in either extremely bulking or slow bulking. It's not even that easy to get fat, so i don't what the fuck's wrong with everybody here. if you have a solid routine even getting fat is a process. get a grip
On this, I think I'll be starting my bulk earlier than supposed, my weight is fluctuating shitload from 175 lbs to 178 lbs but I'm tired of cutting, it wasn't really a cut as much as just losing weight but I've been losing weight for like 2 years now. I didn't go from fat to muscular, I went from fat to skinny fat, need to fill that loose skin with something.

Or should I just Hara-Kiri right now?
Absicles is a possibility for everyone and anyone, just takes some dedication and patience. I used to weight 265 lbs and I've been fat from birth to ~18-19 years and I'm currently 21 years and weighting in at 175 lbs, you can't just erase 19 years of being fat by moving around for a year or two. we gon make it bruh, just don't give up and we'll all have our absicles and bishes.

You definitely can if I remember correctly, I seen pictures. It's funny my body doesn't look any different from yours and I'm almost thirty pounds lighter, how tall are you? BF%?

I'm 6' and I don't actually know my BF% but I'm guesstimating at around ~15%

It takes more like 3-4 for most people. Now if you start quite overweight then the first few years will be mostly weight loss then tack on another 2 or so years to start getting to that shredded physique [editline]15th May 2013[/editline] t'is a long process
r u shredded pandamoxie? [editline]16th May 2013[/editline] post pics
Pandamox is like 600 lbs @ 7% bodyfat year yound.
come on man don't be a dumbass. you cannot possibly have forgotten everything he taught you. there's a generally simple rule to follow: for every push, have a pull. let me give you a simple 3 day split routine. you'll take one day off between 2 days of working out. if you want to have it weekly, take saturday and sunday off. i advise you to go 2 on and 1 off even if it's not a 7 day thingie.
ABxCAxBCxABx...
Aight thanks [editline]10th June 2013[/editline] Taking into account that my goal is to cut how much weight should I be aiming to go up by every week in every lift, and how much weight should I be aiming to lose at the end of every week? Also, when I was lifting today I got to the point where at the third and fourth sets of benchpress it felt as if no matter how much weight I took off I couldn't do a set of ten reps because my arms kept shaking, is this normal at the beginning? I mean doing 95lbs. x10 felt no different then doing 85 Lbs. x 10, and yes I was resting long enough between sets.
Taking into account that my goal is to cut how much weight should I be aiming to go up by every week in every lift, and how much weight should I be aiming to lose at the end of every week?
This is a very subjective question and not one that is easy to answer. Your lifts could improve for about 3 months before you begin to plateau, or longer. Same with losing weight, if you are cutting at 500 calorie deficits daily then expect to lose 1lb a week, 750 calories and expect to lose 1.5lbs a week, etc. Stick to a good diet with enough protein and carbs and you will continue to see the results you want mang. Keep it up!
Also, when I was lifting today I got to the point where at the third and fourth sets of benchpress it felt as if no matter how much weight I took off I couldn't do a set of ten reps because my arms kept shaking, is this normal at the beginning?
When you are cutting that is definitely a normal thing. You don't have the calories or carbs to push through exercises for longer durations. Just do what you can and remember to keep good form. Taking some form of pre-workout supplement and creatine can help to counteract the problems of cutting, but they are not necessary.
Thanks a lot for the response.
