dont name it
name it Jimi Hendrix and smoke weed for him, yeah fort Hendrix is pretty cool name.
I imagined it would look like this [img_thumb]http://www.thruthewoods.com/images/photos/feature_cabin.jpg[/img_thumb] Not a pile of logs, trash, and tarp.
Im going to build one of these now.
ITT: - "Call it Fort Facepunch" (or "Fortpunch") - "OMG THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT WAS MADE OF GIANT LINCOLN LOGS YOU SUCK OP" - something about weed all at once. With bits and pieces of other shit. I like it. As you said those are mid-build pics so I like it more now. As for a name...might I suggest "Lawrence"? Or "Reginald"? or something like that? Also, are you planning on installing a bathroom of some form or another? Or are you just going to use your house plumbing all the time? Just wondering.
Everytime I see you you make a joke about anal sex. is there something you are not telling us
So can I come to your cabin or not
Have you ever afraid that the snow will demolished your cabin?
ITT: - something about weed
Considering he built a hotbox room into it, that makes sense.
Another level onto it.
SSSSSssssssss..... Awesome cabin by the way.
Pretty badass cabin btw, doesn't look like it'd be that water tight but whatever, shit'll hold smoke :smug:
The creeper is still missing half of its body, and you can see the crosshairs on the player. [editline]24th December 2010[/editline] Also, what equipment did you use/go through making this? (Nails/etc.)
Holy crapazola, that thing's awesome. When i was 10 me and a former friend (we still sort of are, we don't talk much anymore though) tried to make a log cabin in my backyard. However, it just ended up a vague square of some big sticks and branches me and him dragged in from the nearby forest preserve. Also, you might want to treat the wood so the thing doesn't rot and fall apart.
The creeper is still missing half of its body, and you can see the crosshairs on the player.
I'm aware of the crosshair, and the creeper is missing half his body on purpose, it's a cartoon thing.
The creeper is still missing half of its body, and you can see the crosshairs on the player.
who cares goddamn this thread isn't about minecraft [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] same goes for the above post
What exactly do you plan to do with the cabin?
Now I know where to go during an apocalypse.
I imagined it would look like this [img_thumb]http://www.thruthewoods.com/images/photos/feature_cabin.jpg[/img_thumb] Not a pile of logs, trash, and tarp.
How many log cabins have you made? Ass...
Makes me want to make a cabin. :sigh:
I swear to God I read this thread days ago. I knew about the fucking hotbox and remember the pictures and was like 'whaaat'. And then I skimmed through and saw the sentence with 'hotbox' in it and was like WAHAAAT. So either I'm psychic or this was posted before. O wait, I did, in my monthly visit to GMF. I'm retarded.
I live in NS. Facepunch cabin meetup?
Have you ever afraid that the snow will demolished your cabin?
lol what snow?
Needs to be called "Wood Station Zulu". The only name worthy of such a structure.
How many log cabins have you made? Ass...
More than you.
I imagined it would look like this [img_thumb]http://www.thruthewoods.com/images/photos/feature_cabin.jpg[/img_thumb] Not a pile of logs, trash, and tarp.
If i could build that in a month with 1 other person I would. but instead I built a cabin/fort made out of what I had on site in the woods for essentially hotboxing and having a good time. I don't see you with a cabin!!
What exactly do you plan to do with the cabin?
Chill in it.
Also, you might want to treat the wood so the thing doesn't rot and fall apart.
I'll just build a new one.
So can I come to your cabin or not
sure
ITT: - "Call it Fort Facepunch" (or "Fortpunch") - "OMG THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT WAS MADE OF GIANT LINCOLN LOGS YOU SUCK OP" - something about weed all at once. Just wondering.
What do you expect from General Discussion in all honesty. Thanks I appreciate it, I don't think I'll even name it, and I may build an outhouse but I doubt I'd use it.
Pretty badass cabin btw, doesn't look like it'd be that water tight but whatever, shit'll hold smoke :smug:
I've been in it in the rain, the tin roof keeps use nice and dry, same with the tarps.
I live in NS. Facepunch cabin meetup?
come to cape breton
Considering he built a hotbox room into it, that makes sense.
...you got me there.
How did you get the logs up so high on your own? did you use a pulley or something?
I brought some SSSSssssssssausage
I'd call it Fort Camelot (V. 2 Electric Boogaloo is optional)
The elevated walls could really bring in alot of cold air in my opinion and openings for animals.
My cousins and I made a bridge over the creek in my backyard (I live on a farm.) over the summer. It was made out of bricks, and I really wish I had taken a picture out of it. It was surprisingly sturdy, also. We could jump on it and it would even shake. Making stuff is surprisingly fun and feels rewarding.
